The matches were still continuing on the practice field but Gin only took a look at Minato's match and analysed his style to gain better information on his skills .
Minato used fast movements to counter the blows of his opponents and finish them soon with a decisive blow . Gin was confused because he could not help but think that Minato somehow knew his opponents attack trajectory beforehand . Such skill was possible for powerful ninja because they could manipulate the flow of battle but Minato was only at the level of a genin or chunin at best . So Gin started guessing that Minato must possess a special skill which can allow him to read opponents movements faster and he can react quickly to them .
Gin's knowledge about the events of Naruto anime and skills was mediocre at best because it had been very long time since he stopped watching the anime back on earth. So it took some time for him to remember about some ninja who had special talent like this .
Sensor ninja!
Of course they could sense the smaller movements which cannot been seen with naked eye . Gin thought and got more and more satisfied with his conjecture . He could easily see that special talent like being a natural sensor was a great lifesaving skill . So he could not help but confirm with system whether he can purchase similar skills from system's shop or not .
" System , are there skills like chakra sensor available for purchase in the shop ? "

Gin was really impressed with this useful skill because it has close to no weakness. It's also much better than chakra sensor skill because that can be obstructed through various methods while Mind eye can only be obstructed through rare soul power . Of course everyone had a soul inside their body but only a few powerful people could control its powers . This skill was too useful for spying without being noticed in this Shinobi world .
Gin wanted to purchase this skill immediately but alas , he would have to wait before gaining enough points . Now Gin's mind started working fast to think about methods to counter Minato's sensor skill because it will be troublesome if he can dodge every attack of Gin at the last moment. Currently their speed difference was already bad enough for Gin because Minato's constitution was much stronger than his . So in the end Gin could not hope to rely much on taijutsu for a win . Thus Gin decided to skillfully mix his ninjutsu into the battle because only then he could have any chances of winning .
Time passed and finally the match between Gin and Minato arrived. While both handsome boys were looking at each other inside the circle platform with fighting intent inside their eyes , the girl students were loudly cheering from outside to the dismay of other boys who could do nothing and just flash fierce gazes at Gin and Minato .
Gin had won four matches before and all ended in seconds with a single move . Combined with his handsome face , his popularity with girls naturally rose easily. Minato was already popular with his baby face , bright blonde hair , strenght and natural charisma. Both of them of course ignored and separated after forming the seal of confrontation.
Hyuga Ko also looked forward to this match because finally someone emerged from his class who could force Minato to use his full capabilities. With his shout the match finally begun .
" Begin . "
Minato immediately kicked the ground fiercely and rushed towards Gin who showed no signs of moving and clenched a kunai behind his back using his left hand . As expected, Minato must have sensed the danger beforehand so he abandoned this attack and decided to go with NINJUTSU because he had already felt that Gin's technique for taijutsu was better than him . Minato already had chunin level chakra so he had no problems using some low ranked jutsu back to back .
He formed the hand seals in three seconds and after taking a long breath , spewed a three meter long huge fireball at Gin . Gin felt a little scared but he did not move to dodge the Great Fireball jutsu until the last moment because he knew that Minato could ambush him at the retreating directing as he could sense his chakra signature. Gin had Kage level chakra control now so he could easily confuse Minato's sensor skill using it but he decided to save the trick as a trump card .
As expected , when Gin jumped back at the last second before the fireball could hit him , Minato had already arrived a sent a full power at Gin's back in the air . Gin griined and easily parried the blow using his left kick. Both figures were sent flying back due to the recoil and Gin's figure dissapeared inside the smoke and dust which was the aftermath of the Great Fireball jutsu from before . Gin used this chance to create one water clone and used Headhunter jutsu to hide underground .
As expected , Minato attacked Gin's water clone after the smoke dissipated into thin air but before he could reach his clone , Gin thrusted both his arms from underground and dragged Minato inside in a second while his water clone attacked with a kunai at the same time . Minato could not form hand seals in time to use the substitution jutsu so he was forced to admit defeat after Gin's water clone placed the sharp edge of kunai at Minato's neck which was barely above the ground while the rest of his body was stuck . Gin appeared from two meters away and grinned at Ko sensei because he was too happy to defeat the genius Minato even though he only lost because of a moment of impatience.
" Winner Kudo Gin . " Hyuga Ko's loud voice was shaking a little because he had pure disbelief written on his face as he looked at Minato dusting his clothes while looking a little dispirited . He had never thought that Gin could use so many techniques this skillfully much less defeat Minato .
The students who were watching were quiet because they too had no digested the truth yet. Gin did not want cheers from them anyway so he just casually nodded at the few girls who were cheering for him while he went and did the seal of confrontation with Minato.
The match ended in an unexpected result and a new genius came from civilian birth again along with Minato . Kudo Gin's name would naturally become famous from now on because he had used Minato's huge fame in a way . Nobody knew that a certain red robed old man was currently laughing while smoking his pipe because he had watched the whole match stealthily from behind his crystal ball and the result made him delighted. He was of course the third Hokage and he would naturally feel happy when more genius come from the academy students especially if they have great skill to defeat Minato who was one in millions talent ...
