Chapter 16: A Talk and an a Upgrade

Night shoots a suit jacket as Angel walks in with Alastor and Charlie. "What are you doing?" Asks Charlie as Night checks the jacket. "Making sure you guys don't die." Night then shows them the jacket and they notice that there were no bullet holes. "These suits are made from the same material as my suit, its a carbon steel cloth, when you get shot it won't go through you but you will feel the impact." Night then puts the jacket back on the rack and shows them their new suits. "Each one is made to fit with your personality and is based on what you are wearing right now." Night then looks at his friends and notices their looks. "Your worried about me aren't you?" Night then unloads the pistol he was just using. "We think your taking this a little too extreme." Night then sighs and rests forward on the gun workbench. "I know, maybe I am, but you guys are the only people I've ever been able to call a family or let alone friends." Night then looks at the scars on his hands. "I have a scar for every mistake I have ever made, most are from messing up on contracts, but I have some that are self inflicted, to make sure I don't let it happen again." Night then turns around and looks at his friends with a tear in his eye. "I'm not losing anyone else, no matter what." Charlie, Alastor, and Angel look at each other and nod as one. "Okay, we will let you make these for us, on one condition." Night then rises his eyebrow. "You have to think about your self and not just us." Night then looks at the floor and chuckles. "I'll try and work on it, how about that?" Charlie then smiles and looks at Angel. "Thats good enough." Night then tosses Alastor a knife. "Good we got work to do, did you guys get your people?" Angel and Alastor then both shake their heads yes. "Good." Night then tosses Angel a bag. "Give them the stuff in that bag, I'm gonna keep working on these suits until then find out about deals and anything Val or Vox might be apart of." Night then racks a shotgun he's been working on for awhile. "Its about time we get an upgrade." Night then sets the shotgun down and starts working on the suits again as Charlie, Angel, and Alastor walk out of the room.
