Chapter 52: Chapter fifty-one

Max's insides froze at the mention of the familiar name. In his investigation into Evelyn Wright, he had found out her full name to be Evelyn Jada Wright. Could it be the same woman he is hunting that his new met pal is talking about? 

"Tell me everything, " Max urged the man with an urgency in his tone.

Brian was alerted by the other man's inquisitive questions.

Was he a spy sent by his boss to rope him into revealing what he plans are, not that he has any yet.

"Look man, I thank you for listening but I have to go, " Brian said dropping his bill on the counter, and walking out the door.

Max didn't know what he said that made the other man put up his wall, but one thing was clear he was not losing the only lead he has after so many weeks of searching for the elusive woman.

"Brian, " called out to the other man as he was making his way to the door, running after him.
