Chapter 21: Part Twenty One

The raised voice of Madeline rang out loud in Elizabeth's office drawing the attention of her co-workers who pretended not to notice but kept sneaking glances in their direction. Elizabeth moved to the door closing shut, she went to the windows and drew the sheds down providing them the privacy they needed. Elizabeth already has so many messes on her table that she can't add office rumors to it.

She turned and faced the ranting woman, whose anger and frustration were pouring of her body like sweat.
