I was about leaving the office, giving both couples space but Shawn stopped me.
"Elena, sorry, Mrs. Grey, we aren't done here."
"Oh, yeah..." I shut the door back. I just want to escape this moment.
"Yeah...This place is so dirty and gosh.."
"Umm. the cleaner will get this done soon." I say.
"Um..no. I don't know the cleaner. I know you."
I scoff. "What do you mean?"
"You clean it. Clean the bad deeds. Let's see if those stains would come off."
"Pardon?"
"Oh, I mean..the stains of alcohol off my desk."
"Oh, right."
"Carry on."
"Right now?" I ask.
"Yes, sure." Oh god, I just want a pinch.
I went to get the cleaning items and started washing off the stains and clearing the office but their voice was distracting. What were they even talking about?
Shawn's POV
Elena...was everything to me. Nothing else mattered but now I just want her to deeply regret the things she did to me. I want her to face what I faced for the past few months. I wallowed in depression.
"Shawn...please calm down and take your pills." Chloe pleaded.
"No, no! I can't do this. She left me. I saw them at their wedding! She really left me."
Yeah, Shawn was at their wedding.
"I want her back. I'm going to get her back, I promise."
"You will. You will." Chloe was his therapist.

"Why did you lie to her?" Chloe asked me.
"Lie about what?" I asked like i didn't know what she was getting at.
"Oh, don't act like you don't know what i'm saying? Us being engaged?"
"Oh, you really look pretty in this dress!" I spoke as i saw Elena's eyes diverting to us.
"It's just for a short while. Just play along."
"But i don't want to. Not this way."
I grabbed her wrist and pierced my finger into her skin.
"Ouch...Shawn..." She groaned in pains.
"Oh, Chloe. I'm sorry. I won't touch you here, I promise." He said through gritted teeth.
"PLAY ALONG, CHLOE. DON'T RUIN THIS."
I clear my throat and smile.
"Um..Mrs. Styles, are you done yet?" I ask.
"Almost down, Shawn." She replied.
"Um...you have to start getting used to calling me boss or the other workers will think we have something together and i don't want them to see Chloe has....you get what i mean right?"
"Yes...yes..I'm so sorry, Bo..ss."
"Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes. I just want to see her off."
"Bye, Elena. Hope we meet some other time." Chloe says.
"Sure." I smiled weakly.
I buried my face on the table as they walked out of the office. Today was the worst.
