Chapter 61: CHAPTER 61
The boat eventually capsized due to the strong force of the blast. This resulted in the entire group of people on the ship being thrown into the ocean. And it was only because of Juvia's quick thinking that all of them didn't drown. She gathered everyone and place them inside a water bubble to keep them safe.
In the distance, they could see the location of the tower being surrounded by thick smoke.
"What was that?", Kagura asked. That was the most powerful magical attack she has ever seen. In fact, that was the most powerful magical attack that any of them have ever seen in their life. Not even the clash of both Wizard Saint Level mages could compare to the magical energy that was used during such an attack.
"That was Etherion", Gray said as he stares off in the distance.
"Natsu", Happy muttered in his breathe. Something that Kagura heard, she once again scanned her surroundings and she realizes that some people were missing. "Where are the others?", she asked.
"They stayed in the tower", Shou replied as he also looks towards the now thinning dust covering the tower.
"WHAT! HOW WOULD THEY SURVIVE THAT! WHAT ABOUT MY BROTHER!", Kagura said. She didn't know about what happened due to her being unconscious. So she blamed Shou and his teammates for his brother and all the other Fairy Tail members not being with them. This made Kagura angry and she immediately positioned herself to attack them.
Luckily Lucy was there and she blocked Kagura's path and said, "They're our allies now!".
Kagura was shocked at what Lucy said, she glances towards Gray to try and confirm what Lucy stated only for Gray to nod in acknowledgment in regard to Lucy's statement, "Kagura, everyone that is not here remained on the tower on their own volition".
With a furrowed brow, she calmed herself down. She then glances toward the tower and she hopes that everyone would be safe.
The blast after the attack landed was already incredibly powerful. She couldn't imagine how powerful the magical energy at the epicenter was. Suddenly once the dust dispersed, all of them were shocked at what they were seeing in the distance. Instead of seeing a destroyed tower, what they saw was a crystallize tower filled with ethernano.
"It's the activated form of the tower of heaven", Shou stated.
"What! Are you saying that Zeref has been revived?!", Lucy said with fear in her voice.
"I don't know, it's our first time seeing the activated version of the tower as well", Shou replied.
"BANG!"
Meanwhile, on top of the tower, an angry Erza could be seen attacking Jellal with all her might. Before Etherion landed, Erza thought that she was able to get Jellal to see the error of his ways. She thought that he had the old Jellal back. But the moment Etherion landed, Jellal revealed that he was only playing with her. And learning that fact made Erza pissed.
"I have to thank your stupidity, Erza. You are so naive", Jellal said as he activated a binding spell he placed on her right before Etherion hit.
"AH!", Erza shouted as she struggles to move from her bindings.
"I don't have any more time to play with you, Erza. Now that the tower has become a gigantic lacrima crystal after absorbing all of the ethernano of Etherion, everything is set into place. I will use your body and you will be broken down and used to reconstitute Zeref's new body", Jellal said.
Then the binding spell that covered Erza's body dragged her towards one of the giant pillars of the floor. "Goodbye my love", Jellal said as Erza's body was being absorbed by the crystal.
With a determined look on his face, Jellal spread his arms and shouted, "Oh exalted Zeref!!! I am here before you! Offering this woman's body as your sacrifice!".
Then the magical energy in the tower began to swirl and gather around Erza. It was slowly transforming her body and Erza could feel the pain of the process.
"BANG!"
But Jellal suddenly stopped controlling the magical energy of the tower when Natsu pulled Erza out of the crystal and when Enzo attack him at the same time. Jellal wasn't able to block the attack and he was hit directly in the face. The force was powerful enough that he was propelled beneath the floor and he was sent towards the lower levels.
"Damn, I just arrived in time", Enzo said. He then looks at Natsu, "Nice timing Natsu".
"Enzo, Natsu, you guys are still here?", Erza asked as Natsu placed her on the floor.
"Of course we are. We're Fairy Tail, and we won't leave anyone behind", Natsu said with a wide grin on his face. Enzo just smiled at this statement.
"Enzo Lockhart!", Jellal said as he appeared out of the hole that Enzo punched him into.
Enzo looks at Jellal and said, "I honestly was quite intrigue when you release your magical energy. I was vaguely sure that I felt it somewhere before. Now I know why. To think that you would be Siegrain and Jellal. To tell you the truth I'm quite impressed with your ability to be at the same place at the same time".
"I didn't want you to be here. Honestly, you were not part of my plan. You are a nuisance to my goal", Jellal replied as his body was slowly covered with a yellow glow.
"Too bad for you then", Enzo said as he prepares himself to fight yet another member of the Ten Wizard Saint.
"WAIT!"
But before the two combatants could engage each other, Natsu shouted and he ran in the middle of the two fighters. "I'll take Jellal".
"Don't Natsu! Jellal is too powerful for you. Let Enzo handle him...Please...do as I say", pleaded Erza with tears in her eyes.
Natsu glance at Erza and he was shocked that she was crying. He clenches his fist and it was slowly being surrounded by the flames of a fire dragon slayer.
"Don't cry Erza, don't say depressing things. The Erza I know should be strong, mean and scary", Natsu said as he readied his stance for battle.
Meanwhile, Enzo just snorted in amusement. He then walks towards Erza and said, "Okay then, you can have him".
"No! Enzo don't! Jellal is too much for Natsu", Erza said as she tried to move her body to plead with Enzo.
Enzo then positioned Erza on the side of one of the crystallize pillars so that she could see the upcoming fight between Natsu and Jellal."Don't worry Erza, if things get a little tough for Natsu I'll get in and lend a hand", Enzo replied. He then looks at Natsu, "But I'm sure you will do everything you can to make sure that I won't interfere, right Natsu?".
"Absolutely", Natsu said as he immediately went towards Jellal and engage him in hand-to-hand combat.
