Chapter 104: Chapter 104: Predator and Prey

A dangerously swooping arrow grazed Ite's brown hair as he bent his head to the side the moment he materialized from Shirogane's substitution technique. He immediately countered with a shot of his own towards his shooter. 

Nana rolled laterally to avoid being hit right before she let another arrow fly. "What an interesting gift from your patron! You are exactly the prey I have been looking for all these years!"

Quickly catching the projectile shot at him, Ite sent it back with his bow shortly after. "Hah! You sure I'm the one being hunted here, wench?!"

"Yes..", plainly put Nana while suddenly appearing behind Ite with an underhanded machete slash.

However, Ite was able to react quickly enough to parry. He guided Nana's blade to the ground, followed by a kick to the midsection. Swiftly, the warlord huntsman spun to stab his Elven counterpart from the blindside. He snickered smugly, expecting the renowned "Night Wolf" to drop lifeless onto the earth.
