Chapter 42: Chapter 42
Axel stared at the night sky at the top of the hospital roof. 3 days have passed since LOV attacked the training camp and captured Bakugou.
His classmates were scared and anxious about Bakugou. Midoriya was the worst of them as he wanted to rush out to go save Bakugou immediately. Aizawa though stopped by smacking sense into him, asking if he knew where Bakugou was or how he was going to take on all of their members at once while getting Bakugou away from them. Midoriya had no comeback.
The teachers on the other hand were making moves to locate the LOV to rescue Bakugou. Shinso helped them by forcing one of the captured villains to the them where the LOV hideout was. Axel ended his call and placed his phone back in his pocket.
Walking through the halls, Axel saw Mina sitting down while looking straight at the floor. He could see her trembling as he walked up to her.
Mina heard footsteps approaching her and looked at Axel who came near her.
" Axel. " She whispered.
Axel put his hand on her head as Mina felt reassured as he did so. She was unsure of herself at the moment, about whether or not she should go with Kirishima to save Bakugou or to stay here and not get in the way of the pros.
" Don't worry. None of us will be harmed. " Axel said bluntly.
Mina looked at him and had a small smile on her face.
Axel said nothing else as he walked away from her and made his way toward the exit to find Midoriya, Kirishima, Shoto, Momo, and Iida arguing.
" Axel! " Iida said as he looked at the blond-haired boy walking towards them.
The others also looked at him as he walked towards them.
" Tell them that this isn't worth it! The pros have it handled, they don't need to risk their lives! " Iida said as he walked towards Axel, trying to get Axel to agree with him.
" We leaving or not? " Axel said to them.
The others were glad that Axel was coming as they had a greater chance at saving Bakugou with him around.
Iida stood there shocked as he looked at Axel. He just agreed to go with them. They will just get in the way of the pros, making more problems.
" Iida. Do you trust me? " Axel asked.
Iida stopped as he looked at Axel who was looking at him with a calm expression on his face.
" Yes. " Iida said immediately.
" Then there's no need to worry. We won't get in the way of pros and Bakugou will be fine. " Axel said as he walked away.
Iida had doubts inside his head. He kept thinking of the negative in doing this but he decided to push it down and put his trust in Axel.

" What do we do? " Midoriya muttered as they watched the chaos.
All Might was currently fighting All for One while Bakugou was being attacked by the LOV. He avoided them as much as possible to get away from the area so All Might could focus on All for One.
" What's wrong All Might? You've gotten weaker. " All for one stated.
" What about you? What's with that industrial mask you've got on? " All Might asked.
" Something I need to wear after our last fight. " All for one said as he attacked All Might.
' Goddammit. 6 on 1. I need to keep my distance and get out of here. ' Bakugou thought as he kept the villains away from him.
' What should we do? Kaachan can't escape with all those villains surrounding him. ' Midoriya thought. The others thought about plans as well before hearing muttering, except it wasn't from Midoriya.
" 8...7...6... " Axel muttered as he made a barrier around him and the others.
He stared at the fight between All Might and All for one before switching to Balugou's situation. The barrier started to move upwards while being invisible.
" Axel, what are you doing? " Kirishima asked as he looked at his friend. He stayed silent as he noticed how focused Axel was.
" 3... " The barrier was almost above the wall with them in it.
" 2... " All for one 2as rambling to All Might while All Might tried to think of a way out.
" 1... " Bakugou's back was facing towards the wall.
" Now. "
Axel created a large hammer close to Bakugou's position. He controlled the hammer to slam into the ground.
* boom *
It then slammed into the ground, causing a massive dust cloud to form in the middle of the battle.
" What?!! " Shiagarki said as he shielded his eyes from the dust. The LOV members did the same.
Bakugou had rocketed himself in the air as the ground had crumbled beneath him. While in the air a golden thread attached itself to Bakgou's shirt and pulled him back.
' What the hell?! ' Bakugou thought.
" I've got Bakugou. Catch him. " Axel said as the others looked at him and got ready after removing their shock.
The barrier opened as Balhou flew towards them. Getting into position, they got Bakugou as he came into the barrier.
" You people are idiots! " Bakugou said.
" We learned to from the best. " Shoto said as he glanced at Bakugou.
" Why you little... " Bakugou muttered angrily.
" Calm down Bakubro. You're safe now. " Kirishima said.
" Who said I wanted to be safe?! " Bakugou asked.
" You heard him. Axel, open the barrier and throw him out. " Shoto said.
" Todoroki no!! " Midoriya said.
' Why am I still here, just to suffer? ' Iida thought.
Axel closed up his barrier and started to make the barrier float higher into the air to getaway.
However, before that, Axel created a simple rectangle barrier to reflect All for One's air cannon straight back to him. All for one watched as the attack approached him and used a second air cannon to cancel the attack.
As the dust cloud cleared, everyone had a clear view of the area. All the villains and heroes were still there but Bakhou Katsuki was missing.
" Young Bakugou!! " All Might called out.
" All Might!! " Gran Torino called out as All Might looked at his sensei.
" Young Bakugou is fine. Focus on All for One. " Gran Torino said seriously.
All Might stared at his mentor and nodded his head with a smile. He trusted his mentor, so he followed his words as he looked towards All for one.
All for one was surprised. His attack was reflected, which means it was that blond kid with the barrier quirk.
' His name was Axel, I believe. ' All for one thought.
" Impressive. " He said as he smiled.
He quickly used his quirk to forcefully make Kurogiri warp all the members of the LOV away from the fight.
* boom *
All for One stared at All Might who had a grin on his face as he punched him.
" It seems you've gotten your spirit back. No matter, I'll just have to rip it out of you again. " He said.
" Try all you want. I won't break. " All Might said.
Following that was a spectacular fight as All Might defeated All for One, but had to retire due to his injuries.
Axel and the others stood on the rooftop of a building, looking at the giant TV screen in the middle of the city, showing the fight.
Aizawa and Nezu headed back to UA, once the chaos had stopped and dealt with the press who kept asking questions.
" That went better than expected. " Aizawa said.
" Indeed. All Might retired but all that will do is increase villain activity. The heroes will have to step up to protect everyone. " Nezu said as he took a sip of his tea.
" Allowing Axel to remove Bakugou from the location was a smart move. "
" Of course it is. He suggested it. He knew that Midoriya would try to go after Bakugou, that was obvious, so he went with all of them to go get him back. " Nezu said remembering how Axel notified about how some students were planning to ho after Bakugou at one point.
Aizawa sighed in agreement. He was annoyed. Those kids just don't seem to understand when to stop running headfirst into trouble. They didn't have a plan or know if there were more villains. They could have gotten seriously injured or died.
" Why didn't you tell All Might about this? " Aizawa asked.
" Simple. His acting is terrible in this situation. Considering All for one could have been alive, which we know that he is alive, he would have been able to see through All Might's acting.
He would have seen something wrong with his behavior and it would have been harder to defeat him while rescuing Bakugou.
Once Axel gets Bakugou out of the area, he can then defeat All for one without worrying about Bakggou himself. But there were still civilians in the area. " Nezu said with another sip of his tea.
' I love tea. Helps calm down the nerves. ' Nezu thought with a blissful expression.
Aizawa nodded his head to that. He was glad that Axel was in his class. It allows him to relax a little when he worries about his students.
