Chapter 18: birth of the blue comet is : archangel.
The archangel flew over the Pacific Ocean joined by the Albion the pegasus class destroyer was now carrying half the civilians to friendly territory in the Chinese Colony of Hong Kong the group arrived there to have the civilians disembark but a few stayed behind those few being Roan David Samantha and Joanna they were Staying due to their involvement as members of the archangel's Medical and combat personnel.
Even though eiji insisted they return after some convincing they agreed to return but only if they could take they baybull and the buldy.
The group had planty of defense forces so it's not like they were lacking especially with the personal troopers and the eight Gundam's. ( the strike the F-90 F-91 the Four RX-78 models the Talgeise and the Wing Gundam.)
While they were their they discovered the alliance was developing a mass production variant of the strike called the Dagger while the Dagger was meant for mass production it would have to be simplified for mass production which created the strike Daggers.
Meanwhile the earth federations own mass production models the GM was already on the front lines with their own custom variants like the GM Sniper the GM striker and the GM Command which had been shipped to aces specializing in them.
Using the data of the Buster the alliance developed a custom dagger called the Buster Dagger.
The ships were being restocked with supplies and were sent on their way to Orb but before they did kira supplied the alliance with the Learning O.S to help their forces.
" Well Time to head out." Said kira.
The group made their way to the Pacific.
Cagalli had managed to learn to operate a mobile armor taking the spare Sky grasper and equipping it with the Launcher Pack meanwhile the Other one would be operated by Mu la flaga who equipped it with the sword pack kira had the strike equiped with the Aile striker pack.
The group managed to get to the halfway point before they were hit by an enemy they found the enemy was the Gradosian's eiji deployed joined by cagalli mu and kira touya deployed in the Granteed with Katia.
" We're ready to launch mister shiun." Said Katia.
" Touya shiun granteed let's kick ass!" Shouted touya and the granted was launched off the catapult.
" I'm going too" said Zechs as he deployed in his Talgiese.
" Buy us as much time as possible." Said lieutenant rammius.
" Roger that." Said mu.
The Gradosian's ace carla laughed as she taunted them
" You pathetic hairless monkeys prepare to die."said the Gradosian ace.
" Who are you calling a hairless monkey you pompous alien Jezebel " cagalli bit back.
" We are the true rulers of this earth." Said Carla.
Gale contacted eiji " so you have made your decision eiji." Said gale.
" I have and I'll stand by it to the death." Said eiji.
" Have it your way." Said gale.
Eiji nodded he focused and he gripped the controls his unit flew into the sky and was met by the graduation skull gunners but just as he was about to begin his fight the beam from a layered rifle hit the enemy and he noticed to fast incoming units.
" Hey eji how you been pal sorry wre late."quipped David.
" What David, Roan then that means you two." Said eiji.
" We didn't want to leave you hanging all by yourself." Said roan.
" Tch it doesn't matter you two will fall here.' said Carla and she went to shoot at the two but a missile almost hit her left wing.
" Tch who in the hell." She said.
" Remember me bitch." Said cagalli the two began a fire fight cagalli managed to get some decent shots on Carla meanwhile the three spt units dealt with the skull gunners.
Gale fpushed the controls of his greim kaiser forward he zoomed into the sky he was fallowed by the white knight mobule weapon and the jet fighter with the sword.
Mu and zechs both zoomed into the sky zechs fwatched as his targeting computer lined up with the purple Mobile weapon then wrasped the fire button as the rifle fired a shot that pushed the talgiese back into a vertical flip.
The shot nearly clipped the greim kaiser but then the sky grasper came in with the schwere gewer laser sword aimed to split that sumbitch in half.
Gale pulled the stick right and his machine flew that direction.
Kira used the strikes beam rifle to shot down the enemy skull gunners while touya used his finger cleave to spear the bastards in half.
" Touya to your left." Said Katia.
Touya turned left and used a sword hand strike to cut down an enemy skull gunner touya fired off his organite Blaster at the remaining six skull gunners and the beam cut a clean path through them.
Eiji managed to defeat his enemies and turned to see cagalli in a fight against Carla he knew cagalli would have a hard time landing a hit with the weight of the striker pack.
" Cagalli purge the pack do it now." Ordered eiji.
Cagalli did so the pack landed on an island and then she felt her machine pick up speed as it rounded the enemies she fired the Vulcan and bullets riddled carla's Demarge she fired off a beam from her lasered rifle but cagalli pulled the stick amd straifed right dodging that shot by a mile.
" Tch who knew the hairless monkeys could come up with such a fast fighter." Said Carla just then Carla heard " heads up baby cakes." She turned and saw the red spot of eiji's team what was it called the baybull it had its knuckles drawn and before she could react it hit her in the left side of her units body with a left smash fallowed by a blow to her units head with a long uppercut then it began weaving in a figure eight pattern and right as Carla used her own knuckles to punch at his head it dipped down and she threw another punch again it dipped down
This continued for a few more times until she said "what's wrong forgot how to attack." She asked to her surprise the robot hit her in the side with a left inside smash then a right swaying smash then another and another and another it seemed endless until David pulled back just in time for Carla to notice she took too much damage and pulled back.
" I won't forget this bastard." Said Carla.
" I hope you don't." Said David.
The battle continued until gale signaled a cease fire and he said " I wish to challenge the one you call eiji asuka to a duel." Said Gale.
" I accept." Said eiji.
The two entered the air and gale immediately fired off his rifle eiji managed to defend because he realized that gale was aiming at a civilian boat in the sea.
" Stop it gale and fight me for real." Said eiji.
" Sorry eiji you sided with the earthling forces so it's either them or me." Said gale.
He fired his rifle again this shot hit eiji in the left arm.
" Tch." Eiji grunted as he took another hit.
Gale shot again eiji managed to fire his rifle too but his aim didn't hit flush.
" Your aims off." Said gale and he took eiji's left leg.
" Danger danger." Said REI.
Eiji grit his teeth "I want to protect my friends." Shouted eiji and his unit flew high into the air then looked as if it was making a free fall before it released a startling blue aura and the machine was dove straight at the greim kaiser the eiji hit the unit several times like a ricocheting bullet and then sent it flying into the ocean.
Gale cried out as his unit decended fast into the sea.
Eiji had won and had managed to spare gale.
After the battle eiji's machine was brought aboard the archangel the chief mechanic murdoch had managed to do a review of the units damage and figured out that the machine was damaged heavily but could be repaired with certain parts zechs offered to have the machine taken to OZ HQ to have it fixed but eiji would only agree if Zechs promised that the machine would not have its data taken or tried to be used to develop mobile weapons for earth.
Zechs gave eiji his word since he saw the promise in the boy to be a great man some day so he took him to the place.
A few hours later eiji found his laundry hadn't just been repaired it had been fully renovated eiji learned it was still the same machine but now that it was equipped with the moving frame it could convert into a fighter mode he he named the machine the layzner MK-II.
Eiji and zechs returned to the ship.
A few hours later since the ship had landed in OZ territory for ressuplies and repairs they were granted a moment respite for the battles ahead.
Eiji and his friends had got together and they celebrated.
" Hey cagalli you did a good job fighting out there." Said Duo.
" Thanks." Said cagalli.
" You were... pretty good." Said heero.
" Keep it up and we may make you a mobile suit pilot." Said Zechs.
