Chapter 5: If it’s Muay Thai Is it a shoryuken or tiger uppercut .
Kenichi was knocked into the wall he had began to train with apachai learning Muay Thai.
"lets try that again" I said and rushed the death god. In my past life my eldest brother David had learned Thai boxing and jujutsu when he joined the national guard.
I remembered a move from tekken that Bruce Irvin would do. It's called a stabbing knee.
I ran upto apachai shuffling my weight between my legs and preformed the knee deep into his gut the problem was I had never used this move so it was kind of weak.
"wow kenichi you know the stabbing knee strike! who teach you that?"Apachai asked.
"I remember seeing it in a fight!" I somewhat lied.
the truth was my brother did teach me how to do this but in my past life I was more into Chinese fist fighting so I never really used this.
allright now try dodging this. Apa! he shouted his patented kiya I ducked under it and felt my fist fulled with ki as I tried for a uppercut but he countered with a cross body kick and I fell to the ground.
"oh no akisame i think I broke Kenichi." Apachai called out
the elder was watching them spar.
when Kenichi was going for that uppercut he was surprised
"if kenichi had landed that punch apachai would have been sent flying."
Kenichi was drenched in sweat from his morning workout
Miu came to offer kenichi some breakfast when she got a good look At him through his sweat drenched gi.
Miu noticed kenichi had a lot of well toned muscles especially in his chests abs and butt.
"wait why am I thinking about his butt?" Miu accidentally said out loud.
when I heard her say that I couldn't keep a straight face and said "like what you see Miu Chan?"
"kya! Kenichi don't say stuff like that!" She said flustered?
"sorry I couldn't help myself." ;p
the elder laughed certainly this boy would prove to be a blessing for the dojo.
in school niijima came over to inform me that the technique trio was looking for payback for my little shit kicking I gave Koga.
"well if they want me they can come to my class." I said trying as much to sound stoic.
"well their coming at lunch." Said niijima
"hmm I see? Well best eat later!" I said.
When lunch time came around takeda and ukita meet me up on the roof I waited for ukita to attack me when he came within reach I whipped out one of the jujutsu techniques akisame taught me I grabbed his wrist and popped him in the stomach with a palm strike then I stepped back clenching him with both hands twisting his arm then turn my waist and throw him into the fence.
then i turned to see takeda.
"Hehe your really something else but can you beat me.'
I watched takeda draw a square with chalk on the roof making circles in the four corners and then set a timer for a minute.
I decided to use Muay Thai since I had taken the time for this morning to train under it. As for the other three unarmed combat styles I learned in karate I learned Shito ryu witch was developed by the mubuni clan. In kenpo I was learning Enseiken witch combined the mizonquan with taiji quan and ba gua Zheng along with my muay Thai style was Kau long style witch used a lot of knee and kicking strikes and my jujutsu was mostly a reversal and counter technique.
Takeda decided to take me on and I used my muay Thai stance witch confused him .
"you're not protecting your body?" He asked
"That's right I said I like to see how far i can push myself." I said.
he came at me ready to go for a triple jab punch i bobbed under it and landed a left jab right hook combination to his body he couldn't guard with his left arm paralyzed.
but he did land a over handed strike to my head.
I came up and landed my stabbing knee to his gut then I pushed him back with a kick to the midsection.
he wasn't prepared for that then I went for the move that kenichi used in canon to give him the advantage.
"ti long!" I shouted landing a low kick to his legs.
"Ugh!" Takeda grunted.
then I felt that surge in my hand I felt this morning during sparring with apachai.
and I went for a long uppercut to his chin.
the blow connected then a split second later I launched into the air.
Sho-Ryu-ken!!! I shouted when I preformed it.
Takeda nearly broke his teeth .
"Hey sempai!"I said as he came to
"huh what?"he asked.
"what if I told you I knew a man who could fix your arm."I said.
"I'd either call you a damn liar or kiss you." he said.
"well pucker up big man! "I joked.
after our fight I woke Ukita up with a well placed flick to the left eyebrow.
and then i had Miu help me take Takeda and Ukita to the clinic.
"about your left arm?"akisame asked.
"you can't fix it?" Takeda said glumly.
"of course I can fix it!"
"so you mean I be able to box again?" Takeda said with a sound of hope.
"boxing no!"Akisame said.
Takeda was distraught
"when I'm done you'll be arm wrestling champion of the world!" He laughed.
"Now I'll start on three it may hurt!"akisame said.
[ian here usually when a doctor says it may hurt what they mean is this will hurt like a prig.]
as Takeda screamed when akisame didn't get past two before he did the deed of a doctor I began wondering if I could preform the shoryuken on demand.
i went outside after Takeda finished his treatment for the day and I began focusing my mind the key to preforming the techniques of ansatsuken was three parts. One strength two ki three and most importantly Will.
I willed my self onto the idea of preforming the shoryuken and suddenly my hand glowed with blue energy as I launched into the air with a dragon uppercut.
Kensei ,sakaki, and Hayato. All watched and the elder said if I haven't said it before having kenichi here with us will be an interesting experience.
I landed on the roof of the guesthouse.
allright now all I have to do is figure out how to apply the satsui no hado to the move and I can preform the Metsu shoryuken. I said.
