Chapter 123: Running Out of Patience

Anastasia's steps stopped when she saw Leonard, who was standing leaning against the wall. Feelings of anger and sadness reappear in her mind after seeing the perpetrator make her cry. Somehow she wanted to run away from Leonard instead of talking to him, which would make her emotions overflow.

Anastasia was a little unsure about which choice to choose. She tried to look calm, but her mind and heart continued to work. Anastasia recalled Instructor Nell's advice that her feelings would be much more sensitive than usual. She should not rely on her emotions to weigh decisions.

"Le-Leo? What are you doing here? It's almost bedtime." Anastasia broke their tension by speaking to Leonard first but without looking at his face. It was done to reduce the turmoil of anger and sadness.

"Anna! Where have you been? I'm anxious because you and Tiana haven't arrived at the dormitory. Have you had dinner?" Leonard spoke quickly and looked very worried.
