Chapter 9: Mom?
Since earlier, Jenni kept smiling while glancing several times at her lover, driving her car.
Precisely, the two are now in the car on their way back to Jenni's house. Of course, with Daniel dropping off.

Daniel, who had been focused on the road ahead, finally felt a little bad because he thought that Jenni had no response.
"Jen ..., is there something I said wrong? Or are you angry with me because of what I said earlier?" Daniel asked, cautious as he glanced at Jenni, who was still turning her face toward the window.
Jenni took a deep breath and exhaled softly.
"No, there's nothing wrong with your words. It's just that you ... make me embarrassed," said Jenni quietly and ended with a small squeak that still sounded faint in Daniel's ears.
Hearing that answer, Daniel suddenly felt relief in his heart.
He thought that his girlfriend would be angry with him because he teased her earlier, but what happened was the opposite. Jenni never got mad with him.
Daniel slowly reached out with one hand, gently stroking Jenni's hair.
"You're funny ... I thought you were mad at me," said Daniel, smiling at Jenni for a moment.
Jenni, who heard Daniel's words, immediately looked at her lover and smiled back at Daniel.
'Handsome ... I'm lucky Daniel to be my lover,' Jenni whispered in her mind, which of course, Daniel didn't know.

After traveling for about 45 minutes, Daniel arrived in front of Jenni's house.
Daniel parked his car right in front of Jenni's black fence.
"This is your house?" Daniel asked softly, looking at Jenni.
"Hum, Would you like to stop by my home first? Maybe Mom is already home, "said Jenni.
Daniel thinks for a moment before replying to Jenni's invitation.
"It's better just next time, it's late ... I don't want to bother your mother later," said Daniel.
"Hum .. okay ... then I'll go down first ....—" said Jenni as if hanging her sentence.
"Don't forget to dream of me," said Jenni, who was already outside the door before closing Daniel's car door.

A slamming door that was slightly hard closed by Jenni because it covered her nervousness.
Daniel, who had gasped, ended laughing at Jenni's behavior, who immediately jogged into his house after slamming Daniel's car door earlier.
"I will dream of you!" shouted Daniel.
'Woah Daniel, he responded to my words,' Jenni whispered in her mind as she continued to jog toward her door.
Jenni's eyes blinked several times when she found the room completely dark.
'What's with this room? Why is it dark in here? Mom doesn't usually turn off the light like this, 'Jenni whispered in her mind and stepped her foot towards the switch in the room.
"Mom!" called Jenni to find her mother.
There is no hint at all.
'Strange ?' muttered Jenni in her mind, furrowing her brows.

After successfully turning on the light, Jenni turned her gaze to all corners of the room.
"There is nothing suspicious," said Jenni quietly as she stepped further into the house.
"Mom!" Jenni softly screamed again.
Again there was no response whatsoever.
Gradually there was a feeling of anxiety that now enveloped Jenni's heart.
'Are you not home yet? but why is the door not locked? "Jenni thought.
Blam !!
The door to Jenni's house opened loudly, and she could hear the sound of a rough sigh that was half-panting like a running man.
"Mm ..- mom .... is that you?" said Jenni in a trembling voice.
