Chapter 61: 59. Time to eat
As soon as his eyes caught her figure , the killing intent disappeared and his eyes returned to indifferent state . He has been living alone for 2 yrs in this mansion , he didn't expect someone to be present, that's why he turned hostile .
D noticed his changes but didn't comment . She went forward and pushed his wheelchair out of the room saying," It's time to eat Mr Sen , you have to eat properly in order to recover."
Shounak was amused by her address but didn't show it on his face . He didn't know when did she learn to cook ,the girl he knew can do everything except cooking . So he was excited to try out her dishes.
He went silently to the dining room adjacent to kitchen , and looked at the table filled with light dishes . There weren't many dishes but it was complete . She has made two vegetables and chapati and jhanjh.
He sat at the table and started eating. She was looking at him expectantly waiting for the compliment, her eyes were shining and she was staring at him intently , he gave in ,"Not bad."
It was enough to make D jump happily . She too started eating without saying anything .
Actually D had started cooking since long ago , she was expecting to show off her skills in front of him and now came the day . Both were happy, one was happy to try out her cooking and he knew she must have not cooked for anybody else so he was the first one , that made him even happier. The other was happy finally seeing him and eating with him .
They both ate lunch in silence. After long time , they both felt content and happy just by being at each others side .
