Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Zhang Family
"...Hao."
"...Zihao!", a voice yells Jun Zihao flinches in shock. Zhang Hechuan, the first son of the Zhang family, is standing in front of him. He is clad in a formal dark blue suit matched with a blue silk tie embellished with golden zig zag embroidery.
"What are you spacing out for? C'mon, I'm sending you to school. You can't be late on the entrance examinations."
"Sorry, sorry. Where's uncle Bojing and aunt Lanying? I haven't seen them all morning." Zihao asks while adjusting his clothes.
"Mom and dad left early this morning. They have a meeting with Japanese clients." Hechuan says.
(So early? It's only 5 am. Being a chairman must still be tiring.)
"Brother He,are you sure it's alright for you to send me? Aren't you busy as the CEO? I can walk, It's not that far." Zihao claims. Zhang Hechuan groans.
"When will you stop being so polite, Zihao? We are brothers, okay? I'm sending you to school on my own will, so don't worry." Hechuan pats Zihao on the head.
"..."
"Enough being dramatic in the morning, let's go! Mom and dad have been praying for you success since last night. I don't want to hear anymore of it." Hechuan drags Zihao to the door. Zihao laughs.
"Alright, alright."

Zihao stares out the car window in silence, taking in the view outside. Hechuan, who is driving the car, decides to speak up.
"It's been 15 years, hasn't it? Since we first met." Hechuan says. His eyes are focused on the road.
"Yes, I do remember you shoving a fireball at my face because you thought a fireball was harmless at that time." Zihao replies nonchalantly. Hechuan bursts out laughing.
"Mom almost fainted when she saw your clothes burning! It was an amazing sight. Thank God Meili managed to calm her down."
Zihao ponders. He was took care of by the Zhangs since 15 years ago since his mother disappeared. There he had met an extremely healthy and kind family. As far as he knows, Zhang Lanying is his mother's best friend, and his mother had left him with Lanying out of pure trust. Lanying always reminded him to never despise his mother for leaving him as she had all the best reasons to. Well, not like he had planned to. Then there is Zhang Bojing, Zhang Hechuan and Zhang Meilin. Zhang Bojing is the Head of the Zhang house. He's known as a honest and a good person, in which he is. He's the chairman of his own company, Zhang Corp. which has close business ties with the Jun family's company. Zhang Hechuan is the CEO of Zhang Corp and his mother is the CFO(Chief Financial Officer) of the company. Both of them are hardworkers and are well-repescted at work. Zhang Hechuan is also Jun Jiali's fiancee, so Jiali drops by from time to time. Finally, there is Zhang Meili. She is born with a gold colour, which caused the government to seek her out. Though, she declined the offers and the Zhang family also followed her wishes to live peacefully. Though, that didn't last long.
Apparently, since long ago Jun Hou has shown large interest towards Meili. At the same time, he dates around with many girls. Thanks to that, 3 years ago, his 6th girlfriend named Xiao Ting hit Meili with a car out of jealousy. Up until now, Meili is bedridden due to her paralyzed legs.
The Zhangs are literal angels. Zihao thought that one day he will repay their kindness in full, and the first step is curing Meili's legs. She is a gold ranker, she deserves to live out her life to the fullest and her promises himself that."
"There you go pondering off again, Zihao. What is on your mind today? Or are you nervous for the entrance examinations?" Hechuan teases while snickering.
"Don't worry. You're a skilled water-element user. Even if you color is black,I doubt many people can defeat you. If they bully you, I'll get Jiali to zap their asses to death." Hechuan says confidently, as if he's the one who's about to face the entrance examinations. Zihao smirks, finding Hechuan's words funny and endearing.
(Water element, huh.. I don't know how you did it Mom, but you're amazing.)
"...Brother He, where did my mother actually go? What problems are she facing? Why won't Aunt Lanying tell me anything?" Zihao asks, still staring out the window. Though this time, his red orbs have darkened in sadness. Hechuan looks at Zihao for a second, then heaves a sigh.
"Zihao, Aunt Guanying is--" Hechuan could not finish his line when he suddenly gasped at something in front of him. Zihao looks at him weird.
"Brother H-"
"Zihao, look! That thing. It's falling on the lady!" Hechuan yells loudly, piercing Zihao's ears.
Zihao turns to look and sees a large light pole dispositioning and falling towards on top of a lady walking. Zihao calms down. The lady is very strong, she needs no help.
"Zihao, what do we do? I can't control my powers from inside a car, and she's about to die?" Hechuan panicks. Zihao sighed.
(But if I don't pretend to be panicked and he just notices that once the lady saves herself, he'll be suspicious of me. Oh well, a little wind magic won't hurt.)
Transmitting power from his eyes quietly, Zihao uses extreme wind pressure to push the light pole and fix it back into place. Hechuan gasped in surprise.
"Whoaa! Zihao, did you see that? Did you see that? That was definitely a blue-ranked wind user!" Hechuan exclaimed, looking around outside the window to 'find' the wind user.
"Yes, I saw that, Brother He." Zihao says in a surprised tone. When he turns to look outside the window, he sees the lady looking straight at him. It's as if she knows he is right there.
(Oh shit! Is she on such a high level of power that she can sense me doing that? Shit.)
"Brother He, we're getting late, chop chop , let's go!" Zihao says, actually panicking now. He can't afford to expose his powers.
"What? Why? You were so calm just now, why are you rushing--"
"Just go!"
"Okay, okay!"

"Alright, we're here." Hechuan says as he slowly parks the car on the side of the road. Zihao sighs.
"Don't worry, you get this. We'll wait for the good news back home. You'd better get the first class, or I'll disown you." Hechuan jokes to lighten Zihao's mood.
"Stop making it sound like you're my mother. Alright, you should get going before people see you and go crazy."
"Good luck, my beloved Haohao~~" Hechuan blows a kiss before Zihao kicks the man back into the car in anger.
