Chapter 31: Chapter 46

We soon arrived at the hospital. I dashed out of the car and rushed to Minhyuk's ward room without waiting for Fabian. He had also got out of the car to follow me along. 

I felt myself almost having a breakdown. I should have stayed with him. I feel so terrible. When Fabian finally caught up to me, I stood outside his ward when a nurse stopped me from going in. 

"Are you this patient's friend?" she asked. 

"Yes." I said. 

She replied apologetically "Miss, you can't enter yet. Please wait outside while the doctor treats him." And she went back to attend to Minhyuk. 

Fabian came over and tried to calm me down. "I'm sure everything is fine." he assured me.

"He's been having a bad stomach ache since yesterday." I told him. I leaned into him, my tears filled with worry. Fabian led me to an empty seat as we waited. 

"I should have stayed with him. I knew I shouldn't have left him here even just one second." I felt terrible all over.
