Chapter 82: The Officers

It had ceased to rain by the time Jotham parked his car on the side of the street behind the matte BMW. Its owner was standing outside, leaning against the closed door with his hands buried in his suit pants' pockets and with a look of vexation about him. It made Histoire hesitate to leave Jotham's car but that was until said person opened his door and got out. 

The policemen's car was still present and parked in front of Deus'. It was a sight she still shuddered at seeing. She could almost guess accurately what Deus was irritated by: the fact that she had taken the opportunity while he was showering to leave without saying anything, only to get herself into trouble as he had anticipated she would if left to behave or act off her own volition.
