I made every single vine within my sight disappear, a sense of alarm growing stronger and stronger inside me...this is bad, I can feel that they're resisting my time freeze more and more efficiently with every passing second. 

Suddenly, as a sizzling sound echoed out from below, a light green liquid burst out from the floor beneath my feet, as I leapt out of the way swiftly, grimacing as a bit of the liquid splattered on my left calf, melting through my trouser leg and a painful burning sensation hitting my skin.
