Chapter 274: Irked

After another ten minute drive they reached their destination, the city's biggest mall. 

"Where do you wanna go first?" Soham asked Serene.

"Anywhere is fine. I just want to shop. What kind of item doesn't matter."

Soham nodded and placed his hand behind her waist. "Okay. First let's shop for our backpack. I want us to have some couple things."

Serene excitedly held his hand. Pulling him more close to her, she said. "Oh that sounds nice. Couple rings, a couple bags and also let's have a couple outfits."

"Okay. Let's start with a backpack. First let's go that way. I think-" Before Soham could complete he got a call from his office. He hung up right away.

Pulling her with him, they walked towards the first floor. While they were on the elevator, Soham again got a few calls, but again he cutted it off.

"Pick it up if it's important." Serene said.

"No it isn't. It's-" Again before Soham could say anything, he got another call from the office.
