Chapter 20: I'm a Transcender
Luke stirred at his sleep and woke up with a throbbing head. He blinked several times to adjust his eyesight in the light. Afterward, he looked up at the system that was already hanging mysteriously before his eyes.

Luke then summoned the system.

'That must be the reason why my body feels so weak despite the fact that I haven't suffered any injuries. Wait! My palm!' Luke immediately glanced at his palm but startled upon seeing his palm was bandaged.
Then a memory from the night before resurfaced on his mind.
'That woman really kind. My opinion regarding prostitute was changed now after experience many things yesterday. Speaking of that woman, I wonder where she is?' Luke surveyed the room he stayed in and didn't find a trace of that woman. Just as he was about to retract his gaze, his eyes spotted a note paper above the desk located beside the wardrobe.
He moved his limbs weakly and sauntered toward it. He took the paper with his left hand since his right hand still in a bandaged state. He unfolded the paper and read the note with a curious gaze.
[ Ahem...I'm leaving you because we're not close acquaintance and I had another matter to attend to. Be grateful that I already saved you. Therefore you shouldn't expect more!" Luke paused before laughing out loud. A sentence appeared on his mind. ]
Luke continued his reading, [ Anyway, because of your merit for weakening Yurnero, I'll reward you a special medicine. Please open the drawer on the small table beside your bed. ]
"She knows?" Luke muttered in disbelief. He never expects that a woman he met randomly yesterday could find out about his battle.
Luke strode to the desk and opened the drawer as the note instructed. On the drawer, there exists a small white tablet. Luke was thinking about whether he should eat it directly or not. He was afraid that the pill wasn't a medicine tablet but a poison instead.
Unconsciously Luke glanced at the notepaper on his hand [ I know you must be in a dilemma whether I'll poison you or not, right? Relax, if I wanted to kill you, you shouldn't be able to read this note right now. ] Luke's cheeks were burned in embarrassment because her blunt words were actually true.
[ Bye-bye! ] Luke read the last sentence and suddenly the paper emitted a glitter before disappearing cleanly into the air.
'She's a Transcender.' Luke thought in awe. Luke wondered when he would be on the same level as her when he could cause a paper to vanish like that.
Then he remembered that he still had a skill which not learned. Luke summoned the system and opened the skill tab.

'What the hell? I don't even know how much points I could earn by defeating a man like Ridik and its kind. And the system told me that the skill I learned needs 100 AP to level up. That is five times more points needed than the "Control" skill!!' Luke complained.

After comprehending each skill he learned, Luke glanced at the opened drawer and the pill inside of it. He then focused his gaze on the pill, hoping that information about it will pop out.

"Fuck!" Luke couldn't help but cursed in a low voice.
Noticing that the cooldown was 20 minutes long, Luke decided to just it the medicine directly. From the action by leaving a note, she wouldn't surely put up a trick for dealing with the existence of ant-like me, right?
"Screw it." Luke with a quick movement grabbed the pill and swallowed it immediately.
In an instant, he feels a cool sensation running down to his body. His seems cleansed by a mysterious power outside and inside. Luke suddenly stood up from his bed and roared, "AAHH!!"
Beads of perspiration began to form on his forehead. His clothes became wet and see-through because of sweats.

Luke slowly opened his tightly shut eyes and gradually grey pairs of eyes revealed. His eyes seem to look more profound and unfathomable. Luke sensed that his power was actually being strengthened after consuming that miracle pill. Not only that woman didn't lie to him; she also gave him a significant gift.
"I'll definitely return your kindness in the future," Luke muttered faintly.
Because Luke also had a remaining stat point unused, he chooses to spend all of it to INT after a long time thinking. He was planned to spend the 5 points balanced by divided it into 1, 1, 1, 2. But after remembering the reason he got sick was owing to the fact he lacks FP, he finally decides just to bestow it to INT.
'For now, I could be considered as a Transcender.' Luke mused in satisfaction while looking at the sun that still not yet surfaced.
Then his complexion abruptly changed.
Shit!
How could I forget that I sneaked away from home! If my mom finds out about my departure, she would undoubtedly inquire and scolded me badly. What he was afraid of was not the scolding but her mother's sharp sense. She might become more suspicious about what's happening to me.
Luke didn't hesitate any more and immediately leaped out from the room using the window.
