Chapter 15: Chapter 14
15 years after the great change the floating islands the demon king of nature and the demon king of frost had now started trading by using the new transport developed by the floating islands. They had developed a train-like vehicle that was floating using air magic and was propelled by using the newly created magic explosion magic. The floating island was like a trading hub. The underground empire was transporting large amounts of stone, iron, and some mana steel. The empire of nature was transporting highly nutritious fruits compacted into bars that we're eaten by most demons now because it was the only reliable food source that didn't involve eating demon flesh.
The demon lord of nature's empire was now called the world tree and the demon lord of frosts empire was called the underground empire.
The floating islands, the world tree, and the underground empire had created 3 swords known as the holy swords. Each one was wielded by the strongest of each empire. The sword we're created by using a pure mana crystal as it's core with a Tier 2 holy spell known as holy smite. The sword was made from compacted mana steel enchanted with a Tier 8 fire enchantment. These swords we're super effective against the undead and were only used as a last resort.
The Undead emperor, however, was in a difficult situation however he could not attack the other empires because they had holy magic and if he didn't do anything the other empires would attack him all at once so he only had one choice left. He made a difficult decision and made a peace treaty with the other empires. The demon king of molten flames however was on a journey to find the other books.
20 years after the great change the Undead empire was now part of the trading and was using the undead as workers that helped mine and harvest resources. The empires were now massive and took up large amounts of space of the now gigantic continent. The problem with overpopulation was much more severe then earth due to the fast even faster reproduction of demons then humans and they're long lifespans. Due to this the floating islands now took up a large part of the sky and the underground empire took the underground. The only place that was ok was the World tree because they had laws on how many children you could get. The undead took up most of the continent due to its massive size. The undead in the undead empire had now also some signs of intelligence.
The demon king of molten flames on the other hand had bought the other original books on magic books that existed in each empire. They were told relatively cheaply because they only had basic magic in them to Tier 3 but he had found another use for them: pure mana manipulation. Each book had 1 part of it in each book.
He had also bought research papers on golems and the experiments of the World tree. He was researching ways for a demon to use pure mana and then use holy magic.
While all this was happening Lukas had developed a Tier 9 space/void spell called interdimensional portal manipulation. This spell made him able to manipulate the random portals in the demon world and choose where he wanted to go. The other thing about the spell was that the portal was not permanent. First, he wanted to leave this planet but after a while, he decided to see how this world developed. He was now able to use Tier 11 elemental magic and Tier 10 combination magic.
100 years after the great change the empires were having a giant problem with overpopulation. Almost the entire planet was filled with compact cities. With the capital of the undead empire reaching 10000m in length. The floating islands now filled 50% of the sky and magic driven trains were flying all over the place. Almost all of the planet's resources we're used up. The 100 stronger soldiers of the Underground empire we're now Tier 11 in enhancement magic and wore 50cm thick armor and were 20 meters tall. The world tree had given its research of boosting strength and gave it to the underground empire and they boosted the strength of their forces.
The Undead emperor could now use Tier 10 spells and was regarded as one of the second strongest in the world. The archmage could now use Tier 11 elemental magic and was regarded as number 3. The Demon Emperor of frost could now use Tier 10 ice magic was regarded as number 4. The Demon emperor of Nature was number 5 and could use Tier 10 nature magic.
The strongest in the world was now the former demon king of molten flames. After researching pure mana he was able to use Tier 1 holy spells but was still restricted by his demonic body. So he replaced his heart with a compacted pure magic crystal that he had developed. Then he replaced his blood with liquified pure mana and replaced his flesh with mana-steel. After removing the demonic limit of his body he was able to use holy magic and developed it to Tier 9. He mixed his magma magic with holy magic. He was seen as the strongest in the world because of his Tier 9 magma magic and Tier 9 holy magic. He was named the Golem of destruction.
Lukas had now developed his elemental magic to Tier 15 and his combination magic to Tier 13. His space/void and death magic we're no Tier 10. After reaching Tier 10 in space magic he couldn't help himself from smiling because he was gonna change to the world again.
