Chapter 83: THE SURPRISE OF DAWN

NARRATOR'S POV

                It was already dawning when, Robbie woke up from his unintended sleep- a warm feeling presented in his face. Like a small hand placed on his cheek.

The golden rays of sun sip through that tiny window of the small house- providing enough light for him to see the horror awaiting him. The sound of struggling echoed in the small space, while Brennan is trying his best to put more distance- between a sharp silver knife and his neck. With wide eyes Robbie watched in horror as a man press on Brennan, trying to end his life.

His survival instincts immediately kicked in- and in a swift motion, Robbie grabs the knife in his boot. Which he placed next to him before laying on the mat last night. The mysterious woman's gifts are really starting to serve a good purpose.
