Chapter 239: Unusual Weather (5)

Lucas let out an exasperated sigh as he closed the drawer of his nightstand and rose to his full height while rubbing his forehead. He had searched all the drawers in his room but he still didn't find the paper that had the spell on it and it was now clear that someone had taken it. But who though?

He glanced at the door as he wondered if Imani had been the one to take it because no one else had been in his room since that night, and he decided to ask her. He headed out of the room and made his way downstairs before he began to Karl's and Imani's voices from the kitchen.

"My friend said you can do magic," Karl said with a grin on his face as Lucas got to the kitchen's doorway and Imani glanced back at him, her eyebrows raised, while she stirred the contents of the pot.
