Chapter 180: Knowing A Fake

"There. Woman," Carina corrected herself. She then glanced at Keith-- "But isn't that the same thing?"

"No, it's different," Keith replied smoothly.

"Leave it, mom. That's just him being a caveman," Katrina commented.

'Hah. A caveman.'

Her remark almost threw me out because it was hilarious. Even Carina paused at her words for a short time.

"Moving on… This here is my youngest daughter, Katrina," Carina proceeded with her introductions.

Katrina only raised her champagne glass to Rachel in response and downed it in one go. I sometimes wonder if she still has a healthy liver… 

"I have one more daughter but she's not here right now. Nonetheless, she extends her regards to you," Carina added, talking about Kate this time.

Right. She's still recuperating.

"Aww... That's so sweet," Rachel muttered with a hand to the heart move, "Thank you."
