Chapter 170: More Confusion

"I don't know someone named Jezelle."

The bomb came and exploded on my face. I stared at him with a deep frown, thoroughly confused with what he had just revealed. 

There weren't that many people in that lounge. Aside from the three of us, there were a few scattered people from the other tables nearby who were minding their own business. If I raised my voice here, it would surely get their attention.

'He doesn't have a sister? What?'

"That's… Jezelle Escalante? You really don't know someone named Jezelle Escalante?" I repeated my question to him.

How to put it, I don't quite understand. He's saying that he doesn't know Elle nor does he have a sister. It's funny because Elle surely told me that Dexter is her brother. That's what she said before, and not just to me, but to Althea as well. I'm not really remembering the things wrong, right?

I mean, there's that thing about Gold Partners before. So what is this now?
