Chapter 22: 5 September 2020
If I thought yesterday was bad, today was far worse. At 11am, no, even before we opened, there was a queue of people. The line was so damn long that it reached to the next shop. And CURVED to the toilet. When Leo allowed the doors to open, the flood rushed in.
At first, she was able to control it but then there was a sudden slam. It was as if she placed six tables at once, all families. The customers were all mostly large groups, but no more than five. Both food and drinks were slammed upside-down. Join FnB, they said. It'll be fun, they said.
I was running, since Leo doesn't want me to hold 3 plates during weekends. I had a splitting headache for the whole day. Nas got angry and upset at Pri since Nas wanted to go back on time. The two of them fought and Nas ended up crying.
Yon was stuck in the middle. And it does not help that the bar had so many 86 items, meaning to say that they were running out of a lot of supplies. The cakes were on the low side as well. And dessert slam was so bad. I had to ask for help since the chef wasn't giving the dockets.
Ali, our operations manager, came down today. She wasn't really much of a help. She helped, by stressing out everyone. Don't know why she keeps doing this.
By the by, Rya, my close buddy from ITE, contacted me once again. He asked to meet me again and find somewhere to eat, chill, and relax. I sense a date night coming up.
