Suddently a giant snake like being with a cold aura appeared infront of him and he stood still !!
- Ahh i see, you came here looking for a strong enemy , im Kora a being from the reptil race living in this cage .
- Than i shall grant you your wish and give you a good fight..
As that being said the snake suddently jumped opening his mouth toward Dante and as if out of instinct he opened his hand
And a energy ball appeared, without thinking he threw it towards the snake and made a hole through his whole body..
Dante- i thougt i was going to die right now..
So this is why i was able to see my ki in this world.
When the snakes body dissapeared a blue energy ball was left behind and as Dante aproached it , it suddently went like atracted , to his body . Than he noticed that the ball was the ki of the snake wich was left behind after the snake passed away..
- Wow this is amazing , i can absorb the ki of other beings just like this? This is surely going to help me become much stronger!! Hahaha!
He came out of the cage and went back to the river side where he was living...
Days passed and Dante wasn't able to see any growing in his ki, not even a bit...
So he went back to his martial arts training and normal hunting.. After 2 weeks of constant failure on trying to increase his ki he decided to go back to the town and try asking about, to see if that was a normal thing in that world as a limit to his power or something like that.
Arriving at the town he saw that some kind of event hapening so he decided to go and ask about what it should be..
- i think ill just ask this person over there...
-hey, ¿do you know whats going on here?
-what ? Where do you live ? In the forest?

- hahaha you must be kidding , well this is the event thrown in Elvan every half a year a week before the tower tests begin.. it is done in order to obrain the 5 most qualified warriors that will enter the test of the tower.
-ohh thanks , now i get it , well i even may join the event then..
So Dante went to a tavern near and asked about how could he join Elvan event..
The bartender told him there is a way he must join a competition and 5 groups will be made and the survivor of every group would make the 5 who will take the tests.
-thanks ill be on my way than..
-The competition will start in 2 days so you must hurry.
Knowing that he prepared for the competition the time he had left and after two days it finally started.
- (Now that i managed to sing in i have no clue about my enemies power so ill just wait for them to aproach..)
The competiton started and in middle of a fighting area wich was the size of a football ground 500 candidates were placed, the fights started right away, some of them were wilding swords some axes ,some where using pistols and some others were using bows and knives , only a small amount were not using some kind of weapon.. suddently someone aproached, he was pointing his swords toward Dante.
- this is the end of the road for you kid.
As he sliced though the air almost reaching Dantes head ,Dante fastly avoided it and after fast aproaching his enemy body he threw a fist that broke the insides of the swordman, this falling to the ground and losing counciosness..
-was i going too hard on him (i supose people here is not this strong like i thought, i better care of not killing them all ).
After 10 minutes of intense fights only 3
beings were still able to fight one of them being Dante and the other 2 being from demon race and canine race.
They started to fight each other while Dante was checkimg what kind of power they had and after 5 minutes of intense fight Dante realised none of em were able to even deal some damage to his body so he decided to join in.
(Suddelntly aproaching the two )
-You two better stop now.
In middle of the 2 he punched each of them on the stomach and they both lost their senses..
-This was easier than i thought..(i supose this people have less amount of ki than me).
After all the matches finished the 5 winers were finally gathered. Among them there was a woman elf called Silph, 2 demon man called Rid and Seng and a human like woman called Dana, they all were gratulated and the town leader granted them with gear that would help them go through the tests..
