The pool of black blood emitted a babbling sound as the bubbles burst, resembling the hissing of hot lava. With each burst, a whirlpool was formed, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

To Desmond's surprise, this pool of black blood seemed to exist in a separate dimension compared to the floor on which he sat. The whirlpools, formed by the bursting bubbles, gradually drew in the surrounding blood, giving the impression of great depth. The number of whirlpools matched the number of dragon roars he had heard earlier.

It felt as though Desmond was suspended above a floating piece of wood in the midst of a tempestuous rainstorm when viewed from the outside. As he beheld the whirlpools, he realized that his test was far from over. Determined to strengthen his consciousness, he attempted to resume his meditation.
