So we choose to go with natural colors after 10daysor continuous dyeing the colors took the proper amount of sunlight and then the proper amount of cold to shrink a bit. That's how this dress radiant with color even with black as the background, unlike others.", Wen calmly explained as the audience was pleasantly surprised.
The judges, the Vastav's, and The Mishra's were also pleased.
"Alright this is where round 1 ends.", Abby spoke as Wendy walked towards her seat. Roya who was seated was burning with anger.
'How come she never knew they had this kind of dress?', She shamelessly thought.
"Alright, now that we enter into the next round we'll have to call all the 6 onto the stage. There is a twist here. Only 4 out of 6 will be entering the next round.", Abby smiled as all expected this to happen.
"Ms.Ele after the discussion with Mr.Mark may I Know which 4 are entering the next round ?", Abby spoke.
Ele moved closer towards her mic and stared at the 6 contestants.
"Designs were innovative and top-notch but there are only 4 seats for the next. So the next 4 eligible designers are...",
Meanwhile.
"....Jennie, Hier, Wen, and Riya.", Adi spoke as she stared at the screen.
"Why...?", Anan calmly questioned her as he stared at Adi who's in his arms lying comfortably.
"Mr.Hier has the detailing that no one here has...Ms.Jennie has unique creativity...Wen has the grip on the design and I can say my genes of masters.", Adi smiled as Anan caringly pinched her nose.
Venue.
"...are Mr.Heir, Ms.Jennie, Ms.Wendy, and Ms.Riya.", Ele spoke as she checked the scorecard.
"Congratulations to the ones that made and good luck to the ones who didn't.", Abby smiled as the 4 designers stood on the stage while the remaining 2 left the stage.
"Alright to the next round...and I would love if the staff brings the design tables for the 4.", Abby spoke as the staff brought the equipment over.
"Alright now that we are done with arrangements. Ms.Ele and Mr.Mark please select a concept and reveal it.", Abby spoke.
The 4 were asked to rest, now the only person who's in terrible fright was Riya...what could she do now...? She didn't hear about this round.
Riya calmly walked towards Abby.
"Sister Abby they said this round will have our past works right ?", She questioned.
"Ms.Riya yes but there was a change in decision 2 days back...didn't you hear the news...?", Abby asked in amusement.
"I...I didn't.", Riya shuttered.
"But Ms.Riya why worry? Anyway, this round is still the same no one could predict what happens.", Abby smiled and entered the stage.
Riya was sweating as she walked over to Lia who's getting ready for the last round.
"Sis what do I do now...?", Riya was tense.
"What happened ?", Lia spoke. Riya slowly explained everything.
"You...How could you not check your emails? Anyway, you are a designer didn't you say that Wendy is noting without Aditi ? Go and try your luck who knows you might crush her.", Lia gave her the booster.
"But...", Before Riya could say anything.
"Mr.Karan to be yours...you must cross this barrier.", Lia spoke as a flash of light emerged in Riya's eyes.
"Yes...without Aditi, I guess Wendy is just trash. Thank you, sis, I will win this round.", Roya smiled with overconfidence.
Meanwhile.
"Do you think Wen will have trouble in this round...?", Adi questioned as she comfortably slept in Anan's arms.
"Nope.", He calmly replied.
"Why so confident ?", Adi smiled as she was pleased.
"She is your best friend and your partner. Of course, I will believe in the choices you make.", He spoke as he stared at the screen.
"Actually Wen is more into design than I was. I choose to code to feed the three of us, while she choose to design. Her style is meticulous and addicting. She was the youngest designer to achieve the award last year. Of course, she kept it a secret to avoid trouble for Sunny. Sometimes I feel she sacrificed so much for Aarav. She didn't enter the limelight because once she choose to stay in light she was afraid she'll drag Sunny into it. So she rather choose to be a silent designer.", Adi spoke as tears rolled down her cheek.
"Alright...now that your brother is beside her. She can leave the darkness and face the light now. Don't cry...my heart hurts to see you like this.", He hugged her a little tighter and consoled her.
"Now that we set a trap, I'm curious how Riya will face this round. Hubby why are you so clever?", She couldn't help but praise his cunning brain.
"I'm just encouraging live talent. Wifey I don't understand what you are speaking about.", He cleverly avoided her question.
"Like I believe. Round 2 was supposed to be the previous works but it suddenly changed before 2 days. Apart from you who would dare to order the organizing department to make changes in such a short time ?", Adi spoke as her every point made sense.
"Alright don't be so smart all the time. I was just angry and taking revenge for what she did to you because you said I can't do anything to her.", Anan surrendered.
"This way is nice too. I'm curious.", She pecked his cheek and turned her focus back to screen.
Venue.
"After a few minutes of discussion, the THEME we choose was 'LOVE' with Black as the design's main color. All the designers have 30 minutes I hope you guys will come up with your best design.", Mr.Mark spoke.
"All the best to everyone. The time starts now.", Abby spoke as she left the stage.
The 4 started to work as the audience was also eagerly waiting for the results.
Offstage.
"Never expected her to be so brilliant. Of course, they both were like this from start.", Rohit spoke as Jason accidentally heard his words.
"Who are you speaking about ?", Jason questioned Rohit.
"Th contestant no.3 Wendy. She used to be an acquaintance.", Rohit quickly answered as it wasn't a big deal.
"You know her...?", Jason indifferently questioned.
"Yes.", Rohit nodded.
"Is she from an elite family you know...?", Jason questioned again.
"Nope, she is the friend of women I love. They are both orphans.", Rohit smiled and explained.
"Oh.", Jason's eyes darkened as he leaned back and started at Wendy who's busy with her design.
Time was tickling as the timer reached 30 minutes. The designer stopped and waited for Abby to enter the stage.
Abby walked onto the stage as she stood in the middle.
"I'm excited and so are the audience and judges.", Abby spoke as she smiled.
"Let us go with Mr.Hier first.", Abby spoke as the Hier design showed up on the big LED screen.
"This piece is 'Elegance".", He spoke.
"This is a stunner. Alright Ms. Jennifer I'm afraid I will be tough for you now.", Abby teased.
"Indeed.", Jennie spoke as her design appeared on the screen.
"The piece is called 'Fire'.", Jennie spoke as the audience gasped in awe.
"Wow, that's a great competition. Now may I ask Ms.Wendy to show her design ?", Abby smiled.
"The piece is called "Beauty".", She smiled. The design was so beautiful that the audience felt that they were to enter into her trap. The dress was enchanting and gorgeous to look at.
Just then Katty, Wen's assistant entered the stage and pass her a USB.
"There is one more piece that drew by my partner. Wen smiled as she plugged the USB as the design showed up on the screen.
"WOW.", Abby couldn't help but exclaim.
The audience also felt the click in their hearts. Wen's design has the first love feeling while this design had the mature and bold feel that most of them synched with.
"Oh-oh, this is something huge. Now the last Ms.Riya.", Abby smiled as the screen showed Riya's design.
The design was good but was not good enough for a competition like this. It looked like a rookie's work and people knew this was nowhere near to the style she presented in the before round.
As an experienced designer, Ele didn't miss this detail. But the most fascinating she found was the so-called mysterious partner's style matched the style of Mr.Riya's first-round design. Ele as experienced Master quickly understood why the mysterious person sent the design now. Ele scoffed as she stared at the screen.
