"I...", Jay was still cursing himself for not being able to heal him.

'Why did I lose those skills specifically?', he asked himself.

"Wait, let me...", he was about to run and get some medical kit after searching the place when he noticed that the person whom he wanted to save was already dead!

He could do nothing at all. There was one person alive in front of him but he couldn't even save him.

His body was boiling with anger, needless to say, he wanted to scream however he contained himself.

"There were no guards when I entered the gates...", was what he said.

This meant that the guards were also killed, or perhaps there were no guards, to begin with.
