Chapter 281: Red wine

Massimo smiled when he saw Gina start to wipe her lips with a tissue, Massimo slowly stroked Gina's hair gently. "Learn to love and accept me again, Gina. I know you loved me once."

Gina almost choked if she didn't immediately drink the water that was near her left hand after hearing Massimo's words, Gina even drank water from another glass which tasted bitter. Wait, bitter?

"Shh... what is this water? Why is it so bitter?" Gina muttered hoarsely while sticking out her tongue trying to get rid of the bitter taste that plagued her taste buds.

"That's not water, honey. What you're drinking is whiskey," Massimo said quietly, telling Gina what drink he just had in the middle.

"Whiskey? But why doesn't it smell?" Gina asked, confused, even though she doesn't like drinking, Gina is still able to distinguish the type of liquor from its aroma.

"That's because you've had red wine in the meat you eat before, honey."

"Eh?"
