Chapter 1492: Unexpectedly Advanced

The basement was very large and done up in a modern style, complete with a study and a tea room.

The study door was slightly open and light was leaking out from it. Huo Yao walked over and saw Min Yu working in the room.

She knocked on the door before she gently pushed it open and entered.

Min Yu put down some metallic objects and turned to look at Huo Yao as she came in. "Are you up already?"

Huo Yao nodded. She glanced at the things on the table in slight surprise.

It was full of weapon parts and a semi-finished weapon.

"I have already sent for dinner and it should be here soon." Min Yu removed the white gloves he was wearing. He noticed Huo Yao looking at the things on the table behind him. "Are you interested?"

Huo Yao veered her eyes and replied nonchalantly. "Nope."

Min Yu raised his brow. "What are you interested in then? Just money?"

Huo Yao quietly glanced at him. "Do I look like a materialistic woman to you?"
