Luci swallowed her saliva. "Is moving out of town the only way here?"

"Yeah, and honestly that's the only way," Evan nodded. "This town is small and not overcrowded. You can be found easily in this town, especially if Bruto does have a large army."

"You're right," Luci sighed almost in frustration. "And why would Bruto prefer a small town to hide in?" Luci groaned as if she was protesting.

Evan shrugged, for he couldn't come up with one adequate answer either until he finally said, "Maybe he was born and raised here." And that's true.
