Chapter 156: But My Hands Hurt

 Spider blindly rushed to attack Matt and Tom, especially Matt who had a sitting position close to Luci.

 "Don't touch Bee! DON'T TOUCH HER!" Spider jumped up and almost punched Matt in the face, if only Tom didn't move and pull Matt out of the way. Spider's body had fallen on the sofa, where Matt had been sitting.

 "Wha – what? - What is?" Matt staggered in his place. The man who looked like a clown had fallen on the floor. His eyes were frightened to see Spider had turned into a demon. Moreover, Spider's anger had never been this huge.

 "Tom, what happened to sir? Tom?" Matt mumbled back on his weak legs helplessly.

 "Alright, let's just go instead of us dying!" Tom whispered as he pulled Matt to run away. But Tom couldn't move much.

 The reason was that Matt didn't want to stand, or rather couldn't. "My knees are weak. I can't stand up, Tom! Help me!" Matt tried to feel Tom's shoulder for support.
