Chapter 10: Meeting ()
(Raynare POV)
In the dark sky of the night, a winged figure could be seen flying as it looked down on a small white church on top of a hill. Once the figure was directly above the church it began to descend. When it was illuminated by the light of the moon the body of a young woman wearing what seemed to be a jet black bikini and boots appeared.
She was greeted by two men who opened the double doors. She looked at them and cursed inside her head, she could feel the way that they were staring at her. Those disgusting lustful gazes that she felt every time she was seen by a man.
She ignored them, after all, they were needed since she and her three subordinates were sent to unfamiliar territory. All she would have to do in return is help them if they were unlucky enough to come across a strong devil, meanwhile, they were just going around killing idiots who formed contracts with devils. She walked the church and entered the hidden entry that led to the basement.
Once she was there she was greeted by a large black cross that was made out of stone. She took a deep breath and felt her heartbeat with excitement. 'Soon, very soon I'll be able to assure my position and start improving my rank so that I can better serve Lord Azazel and Shemhazi. I'm sure that they will forgive me this once for acting behind their backs just this once since it benefits our race.'
"Lady Raynare, everything is ready for the ritual. All that is needed is the owner and her sacred gear."
The young woman turned around and found the man that had spoken, he was wearing a grey trench coat and hat. "That's great Dohnaseek, that goody sister should be arriving soon, for now all we have to do is wait."
"I'm happy for you Raynare but have you taken care of the target? If you want one of us can take care of it."
"Yeah staying here is super boring, how come only one of us can go out every night while you can come and go as you please?"
Raynare looked behind her and found a blue-haired woman wearing a purple trench coat, there was also a young blond girl that was wearing a maid costume.
"Kalawarner, Mittel, I need you to be guarding the ritual, there have been some reports by the exorcists that they have come upon some humans that had devil contracts. It's not likely that we would be attacked but I can't take any risks. No matter what Twilight Healing must be mine."
The blue-haired woman sighed and nodded "Alright but what about the human that possibly possesses a sacred gear? Our assignment was to see if he was a threat and if he was you said we were ordered to take care of the problem."
Raynare smiled and raised her index finger "I have that horny virgin wrapped around my finger. I made contact with him today."
She turned into her young teenage form and began acting shy "He was kind enough to accept me as his girlfriend. I'm planning on asking him on a date next Sunday, I'll make sure to give him a surprise he won't forget. Besides we need the time for the sister to arrive, that way when the higher-ups' check-in we have an excuse."
Kalawarner and Mittelt shrugged and began walking away, they were used to the way that Raynare did things so they knew it would all be fine.
Very early the next day she received a call, when she brought out her phone she saw that the one that was calling her was Issei. She rolled her eyes and answered, "Umm, hi Issie, I mean good morning."
There was a slight silence before the excited teen responded "Hey, Yuma, I was wondering if you wanted to meet and walk to school. I could walk you to your school and get to know more about you."
"Oh I would like that, we could walk part of the way."
"That sounds great let's meet up where we first met in about 20 minutes, bye"
When the call was over she sighed and looked at the two fallen angels that surrounded her. They had their mouths covered trying to stop their laughter from escaping but now that the call had ended they burst into laughter.
The blond loli pointed at the phone, "You should use that way of talking more often Raynare it really fits you haha. That's a new voice, usually, you choose the more mature and seductive."
Raynare transformed into her schoolgirl form and began walking out as she raised her hand and gave them the finger.
Once she arrived at the highway bridge she found Issei waving at her with a wide smile on his face. She smiled back and walked in front of him, "I'm here, sorry if I made you wait."
Issei scratched his head and laughed "Don't worry about it, I just got here so I didn't wait that long. So are you ready?"
Raynare smiled and nodded, together the two of them began making their way to the school. About halfway there they walked towards two teenagers that were staring at them with their mouths wide open.
She saw Issei start acting differently, once they had reached the bald guy and the one with glasses he introduced her and began whispering to them.
"And get this, she asked me."
Raynare smiled and pretended not to hear him, 'you little, enjoy it while you can you little shit. Treating me like your trophy huh it'll just make it more fun when I teach you your place. All men are disgusting, just like I thought only lord Azazel can look at me without making me feel this way. I must get stronger and make myself worthy of him, he is the only one that I can be happy with after all.'
After they had arrived at the school she bid her goodbyes and began walking away. Raynare headed back to the church and just waited there. When she saw that it was almost time to meet up with the idiot she headed back to the school.
When Issei and her had walked to the center of the bridge and she turned around to look at him. "Say Issei would you like to go out sometime?"
The brown-haired teen looked confused at first, "Go out?"
Raynare smiled and nodded, "Yeah, next Sunday afternoon can you do it?"
Issie's eyes lit up as he gave a quick nod, "Sure, that sounds great I can do it anytime you want."
A big smile appeared on her face, "it's a date then, night."
She began to run away but then a thought went across her face and her smile grew wider, 'let's add the cherry on top'.
"I really am happy you're my boyfriend."
Then she turned around and ran away, after she was a good distance away she slowed down and began to find a good place to teleport back to the church. While she was walking she noticed that someone was standing and just looking at her.
'Ugh another dirty man, how does this one expect to woo me? He doesn't seem like the one that has that much money. Is he the type that will try to take me by force? I would love to see him try, I'll make him suffer until he starts begging for me to kill him.'
She thought that the kid had gotten cold feet since he didn't talk to her but just as she was about to walk past him he raised his head and waived "Umm hi, can I have a word with you for a minute?"
Raynare turned around and smiled "Huh, are you talking to me."
The silver-haired teenager nodded and began talking, what surprised her was that he seemed to see right through her. 'No that's impossible, I don't detect anything abnormal about him, he is just a human, like all the others..... Wait, why am I not feeling disgusted by him like I do with the others? And those eyes, they don't contain the slightest speck of lust, even lord Azazel has traces of it.
Just as he was about to walk away she called out to him, "No wait, what you said was sweet and... uhhh I guess that a meeting as a friend wouldn't hurt. How about this Sunday?"
He agreed and chose the time and place before he walked away.
'This human, just who is he and what makes him different than the others. I'm starting to look forward to this weekend.'
Just as she was about to follow the silver-haired teenager to get to know more about him a purple circle appeared beside her. She turned around and found Mittelt who was yawning.
"What is it Mittelt? You should be guarding the ritual site."
The blond Loli nodded and sighed, "Yeah, Yeah, the thing is that those good for nothing exorcists came upon a rouge devil and they want help. Apparently, 4 of them were killed in their first attempt, I went and scouted the area, that devil is one ugly bitch."
Raynare nodded and looked once more at the direction that the silver-haired human had gone in. His red eyes were still fresh in her memory, after a few seconds, she reluctantly turned around and nodded. "Then it sounds to me that there's going to be one less bitch in this world."
The blond girl smiled and a purple circle formed sucking the two girls in.
