Chapter 10: Campfire vs Azure
CAMR split into two groups-Chill and Razz, Chro and Maron.
"Elec, with me!" Azul exclaimed, chasing after Chill and Razz.
"Watch each other's backs!" Elec told them before running after Azul.
Sage and Rose nodded before running after Chro and Maron.
*CR and AE*
Azul swung her sword forwards to block Chill's claymore before being pushed back a few feet from the impact.
Chill dashed forward before slashing downward.
Azul quickly rolled out of the way before the blade slammed into the ground.
Literally into the ground.
Chill pulled the blade back and revealed a small slash mark in the arena floor.
Azul looked over and saw Elec and Razz attacking each other with their lances.
Elec spun his lance and swung it towards Razz, who parried it with her own lance.
Razz used her momentum from the parry to spin in place and slam the side of her lance into him.
He slid back before he was surrounded by blue electricity.
He held his lance behind him before dashing forward, much faster than before.
He thrusted the lance into Razz's chest, causing her aura to appear before she exclaimed from the blow.
She flew back before rolling to a stop before slowly getting back on her feet.
"My semblance allows me to speed up the neurons in my body, allowing my body to react and move faster than normal." Elec stated as the blue electricity calmed slightly while his eyes still glowed a bright blue.
Razz's eyes glowed purple before her lance did as well.
She dashed forward and thrusted her lance.
Elec side-stepped before he thrusted his lance once more.
Thing is, Razz was ready this time.
She leaned where it slammed into her shoulder.
When that happened, she took the opportunity to attack once more.
Elec was too close to dodge it as it slammed into his chest.
Except it hurt more than it should have.
"Gah!" Elec yelled out before being flung backwards.
As he rolled, Razz stopped glowing purple.
"My semblance is Gradivus. I can use my aura to increase the piercing power of any weapon I hold."
Azul checked their aura and found that Elec was down to 53%, Razz at 58%, Azul's at 86%, and Chill's at 88%.
Azul's eyes glowed blue before a copy of her sword made out of water appeared in her other hand.
"Oh? You can manipulate water. That's too bad." Chill spoke.
Her white hair started glowing brighter as the air around her grew colder.
"My semblance is Freeze. I can lower the temperature around me down to freezing temperatures."
Chill dashed forward where Azul responded the same way, quickly noticing her water sword hardening into ice.
Their swords slammed into the other's blade.
Azul swung her now frozen blade upward and across Chill's chest before she shot her hand out and grabbed that hand.
"Ahh!" Azul exclaimed, her hand started to have ice grow on it.
Releasing her actual sword, she curled her hand into a fist and slammed it into Chill's face, causing her to let go.
Azul backed up while holding her hand.
"Oooh, looks like Chill has gained an upper hand. Can Azul come back from this setback?" The announcer announced.
Azul breathed out hard before using her semblance to use whatever melted ice on her hand there was to spread out, cracking off about 80% of the ice. She held the water over the icy parts while watching Chill.
"I said I could lower the temperature. How did you think I did that?" Chill asked.
Azul gritted her teeth.
'Just our luck to get someone with a semblance to counter ours. Elec's makes him faster, but it lowers his aura's defense as an exchange. Add someone who can get rid of whatever would be left and he really can't allow himself to be hit.'
Chill dashed forward before slamming her claymore into the ground where Azul used to be since she jumped back.
'Shit, I don't have my weapon either.'
*AM and SR*
Sage leaned out of the way of Chro's punch before he slashed his sword and struck Chro.
Sage continued attacking him before Chro ducked under a slash and spun with his foot out and slammed it into the back of his feet.
That action knocked Sage off balance enough for Chro to get back into his stance before his arms started glowing gray.
He jabbed one arm forward, where Sage rolled to dodge, only to feel a strong amount of wind shoot pass him.
Sage got up quickly before he saw Chro throw another fist forward too late.
Sage was blasted away by a strong wind that slammed into his gut.
"I can use my gauntlets in conjunction with my semblance to shoot air with the same impact of a bullet."
Chro dashed after Sage.

Rose used her weapons to clash against Maron's foldable blades that came from her gauntlets.
Rose started to glow yellow before her blades gained a yellow tint.
Rose dashed forward and slashed at Maron, who ducked under it before slashing her multiple times before jumping back to avoid being hit.
"Your blades were really hot." Maron commented.
"I can absorb and transfer energy."
Maron nodded before running towards her again.
For the next few minutes, Maron would keep getting in close, dodging Rose's attacks, getting distance, and repeating.
When Maron jumped back once more, Rose snapped.
"Enough!"
She stabbed both of her blades into the ground, immediately causing the ground around her to start to shimmer.
She grabbed a Wind Crystal and a Fire Crystal before placing them in slots near the base of the blades.
She pulled the one with the Wind Crystal in it out while the one with the Fire Crystal started heating the ground even more.
She swung the blade towards Maron, sending a blast of wind towards her.
Maron stabbed her blades into the ground to prevent herself from being blown back.
She was confused when the wind wasn't that strong.
"You are not getting close to me again."
Maron was forced to focus on defense because she didn't want to get close since it looked like the ground was slightly smoking.
After a bit, Rose pulled her blade out of the ground and pointed it at her.
"This fight is over."
"Oh? Are you surrendering?"
Rose smirked. "Any second now."
"What?"
Suddenly, Maron started coughing.
Rose dashed forward and slashed at her. For some reason, Maron couldn't move in time and took a heavy blow to the side, sending her flying.
When she rolled to a stop, Rose spoke up.
"Your mistake was believing my attack was the wind. No, my attack was the very air you were breathing." Seeing that she was struggling to get back up, she continued. "You see, humans and most faunus have difficulty breathing in hot air. The more humid an area is, the less oxygen available."
Rose dashed forward and slashed at where she was, only for Maron to disappear.
And a gravity-dust enhanced blade to fill her vision.
Rose flew back and off the arena.
"Rose Flare has been eliminated by ring out!"

"What?!" Sage exclaimed before Chro slammed a gauntlet into his chest before being blown backward.
Chro quickly followed and grabbed his shoulder before palming him in the face, blowing him even further back, to the edge of the arena.
"Bye."
Chro threw both arms forward, sending a massive amount of wind forward that pushed him over.
"Sage David has been eliminated by ring out!"

Elec started dodging Razz's attacks but couldn't retaliate due to losing his lance.
He dashed past her before slamming a knee into her gut on the way by, causing her to lose some breath.
He slammed his fist into her chin, knocking her slightly up into the air. He followed it up by jumping into the air and kicked her in the side, sending her sliding away.
Razz got back onto her feet before her lance and eyes started glowing.
She dashed forward and thrusted her lance from his right.
Elec moved to the right to avoid it, only for pain to happen.
Razz vanished before reappearing to his left with the lance in his side and Maron off to the side.
Elec fell to a knee before collapsing.
"Elec Lie has been eliminated by aura depletion!"

Azul dodged Chill's opened hand before using her fire-enhanced dust sword and slashed her across the chest, sending her backwards.
"Chill Dusk has been eliminated by aura depletion!"
Azul breathed heavily.
'My team is out and three more are likely on their way here.' She thought. She looked at the aura gauges on the screens.
'I still have 58% while the three have an average of 42%, with Chro having the lowest at 30% and Maron with the most as 64%.'
Chro appeared and dashed at her.
She formed another water sword in her other hand before dashing at him.
She slashed, where he ducked and moved under the slash before shooting a fist at her gut.
Azul quickly swung her actual sword into him just as he slammed a wind-dust enhanced attack into her, blowing her back further than she liked.
But she liked the result.
"Chro Amitola is eliminated by aura depletion!"
'That hit did a lot more damage than I liked.' That one hit knocked her down to 42%.
Razz and Maron arrived not long after before charging her.
Azul readied herself.
Razz thrusted her lance toward her.
Azul slashed her water blade to block, only for it to go through the lance like it wasn't there.
Next thing is a lance in her side.
She slashed hard in the direction it came from and found her target was Razz's shoulder.
They both were sent backwards before Maron ran towards her.
Maron slashed her where Azul tried to block them, only to try and block in the opposite direction, leaving her open to a vicious combo that ended with Maron kicking her towards Razz, who's eyes were glowing purple along with her lance.
"HAAA!" Razz yelled out, shooting the lance forward.
It struck Azul in the chest before she cried out as the blow dropped her aura down to 3%, far past the 20% required for elimination.
The last buzzer rang out.
"Azul Vasilias has been eliminated by aura depletion! Leaving Team Campfire as the victors!"

Team STRQ looked at each other while the crowd cheered before the four of them nodded.
They all knew one of the people on that team had a dangerous ability.
An ability that messes with your combat ability.
