When the wolf saw Loki, it looked relieved like it saw its God in the flesh and just fell in front of him.

When Loki saw the wolf fall, he magically knew it will die in 3mis and how it will die but he knew that he can help by making it go through the 'reborn process' aka basically dying and raising them from the dead with his Death powers. Knowing that it will die, Loki pulled out both of his hands from behind his back and started thinking about what to do about his new 'companion'.
After thinking for 3secs, Loki thought.' lets fucking Wing it and try what all people in fanfic novels do and just think about using your power and boom it works.
Mmm, I should make an underground base and do some experiments with my powers so I could get a good result on how my power works.'
Getting out of his inner dialogue, Loki said emotionless crouching down by the wolf." I guess you could be experiment number 1, let's hope it works for both our sakes because I don't feel like going around the woods and hunting magical beasts, and plus you want to 'survive'." After talking, Loki though of removing the wolf injuries and making it look bigger about 10 feet tall with his powers.(Author Note - If you want accurate height for visual then look at the Twilight shifters.)

Out of Loki's right hand came a full black gas that made you feel like the Grim Reaper's scythe was around your neck and can take your life any time it wants. The black gas then started wrapping around the wolf's whole body for about 2secs and then disappeared like It was never there in the first place.
When the black gas disappeared, Loki felt like he is sitting on something fluffy. When he looked down he can see the two blood-red eyes looking at him with high respect and admiration. Loki then heard a girl voice around 16 years old in his head.' Master thank you for helping this little one and accepting me. Master, can you please grant me a name."
Without even a millisecond, Loki said calmly." Fenrir, I will name you Fenrir." It's ironic that you think about it because His name is Loki, and a black wolf named Fenrir, the only thing think he needs now is a big snake and a girl with black hair to complete the God Of Mischief family.(Author Note - If you don't know what I'm talking about then I feel bad for you.)
The Demonic Black Wolf now named Fenrir said happily." Fenrir.....Fenrir.....Fenrir! Master, I love this name, thank you for naming this lowly magical beast." After She said that, Fenrir started running around in circles in happiness.
After going in circles Fenrir started walking normally after getting her balance back in a straight line with Loki on laying on her back staring off in the sky with a slight smile thinking.' I guess I will take a nap because Fenrir did tell me that she will find a place to sleep.'
