Chapter 106: Not a maid

Samantha did not even get to give her respect to the Queen before she was dragged again by the King. She turned back to the beautiful lady staring at them with a warm smiled on her face before she went back to her chambers and the doors closed after her.

"Milord, I...."

"Yes, Samantha?" The King did not stop even for an instant as he continued to lead her towards the wing that held his chambers. He had already decided where the girl would stay, and just the thought of the girl staying close to his chambers from now on excited him.

"Milord, could you please slow down? I am unable to keep up with you." She pleaded, and this time, Alastair relented to her wishes at once. He slowed his footsteps as he matched with hers but he did not stop walking.
