Chapter 79: Seal of protection

Novalie hastened her footsteps as she rushed to her room with Jane and Gwen following her. "You two stay here." That was all she said before she closed the door shut, stunning the two women. They gaped at each other, lost by the woman's sudden actions. However, they did not speak a word about it. It was their duty to follow her commands, and they did just that.  Silently, they stood outside the room waiting for the old woman to come out of her cavern. 

Novalie sat on the ground and closed her eyes with her fingers clasped. She took a deep breath before she started mumbling under her breath. At once, her mind started searching for the people who were looking to enter Ambra. It did not take her much time, and she could see the four men who had come to visit their village.
