Chapter 72: Objection

"Samantha, dear, I want you to accompany me to the study." Lily did not delay in relaying Lady Bradford's orders.  Samantha was yet to wipe her hands clean when the old matron caught up with her. "Please, dear. It is urgent. Come with me."

The woman's sudden request surprised her. But Samantha followed her immediately, wiping her hands on her apron. She nodded at Saorsa and Itri, who nodded back at her in assurance. Since she was in a hurry to follow Lily's instructions, she missed Saorsa's strange expression.
