Chapter 52: Saorsa's past

It was only after dinner did Samantha find time for herself. She sat on her bed and took a look at the gloves that were as good as new. "How is this possible? How could they return to their original state?" She mumbled, turning her hands and staring at them intently. She tried to recall what had happened after she had come out of the room. "But..but.." Samantha could not find any answers to her questions.

She held her head, leaning forward. Everything was a mess, and Samantha was losing her sanity as time passed. 'Who is that man, and why did I go to him? What is he, and how did he burn my gloves?' She repeated the questions in her mind, the intimidating man's face flashing before her eyes. 'And why do I find him so familiar when I met him for the first time today? Why does my heart find solace in his presence?' Again, she had no answers to her questions.
