" Do you have anything else to say?" she asked.

He held something up to show her but it was too dark for her to see so she paced closer to him only to see her phone in his hand. She didn't even notice that the whole time she was holding his phone instead. She was even going to pay for the food. " I took the wrong phone." He said as he lent her the phone and grabbed he's before heading back to his apartment.

She gasped in disbelief. " Jake!"she shouted his name only to make it echo back to her. He halted at once and stood there, frozen, without speaking, without moving. "Can we just talk things out? I don't want to force you but just so that you know I really do care about you. I just want to know what is bothering you. Am I not even worth knowing that?"

"Okay …there's nothing bothering me. I just want to stay alone for some time. May I go?" he asked without turning back.
