Chapter 137: A mysterious door

"Okay." Sam agreed to him. They plated everything and sat on either side of the dining table silently. Jake was already digging in his food when Sam didn't even start. For a moment she forgot that it was her apartment and not his.

"You surely are enjoying your food, aren't you?" Sam commented as she took a spoon full from her plate.

"Kind of." He said.

"It's not that bad actually." She said when she was done chewing her food.

"Thanks." 

After finishing their dinner Jake was ready to do the dishes as well but Sam insisted on doing it herself. She asked him to leave early as they had to be in the early next morning.
