Chapter 61: Realization is enough

It's too late! " Mrs. Dayal said again. 

"I know. But I really want to apologize for my mistakes, for not being there for you when we needed it the most. For not being able to fulfill my duties towards you. You don't deserve such an ending to our marriage but now I have realized it. I am not here to rebuild our relationship . I know I have already lost that chance. I just need you to consider my apology. " Mr. Dayal persisted. 

"Do you know what your mistake is? It's not that you didn't care or loved me less. It's about you being incapable of giving enough time to us. " Mrs. Dayal replied. 

"I… I got it. " He agreed. 

"Okay… let's not talk about that. At least my daughter got justice. I am at relief. " Mrs. Dayal said. 

"Our daughter. " Mr. Dayal added. 

She simply smiled at him. 

"Did you forgive me? " Mr. Dayal asked.
