Chapter 52: I know him better

"Ah….ha ha… I was a little sleepy" I don't even know what I was saying. 

"What?! " He laughed. 

We came out of the cafe together and left for our own ways. 

A week later he left the academy. Jin went along with him. Thankfully we will be out by the end of this month. Then we can apply for an agency. 

It was not as if I felt very lonely after that week but I felt that same strange feeling. This time it was sevior. I felt empty. Now that I cannot see him anymore and listen to his stupid jokes, I was missing them. Perhaps I was missing him. 

Days later I got a call from an unknown number. It was him. I cannot explain how excited I was when I heard his voice. It was the same deep, serious tone that creates goosebumps to my entire body. 

"Hey! " I greeted him excitedly. 

"Hey Sam! " He said. 

It was not a very serious talk but just a casual one. I didn't even notice the time until Mon came up to say that I was too loud.
