Chapter 66: Reunion

Lucas slapped his face lightly, intending to set his mind straight. He knew he had to focus on what was important for now. He picked up the documents on his table once again to have a read but he still finds it hard to pay attention.

He gathered he just needed some cold water splashed on his face to keep him alerted. He walked into the toilet and gave himself a refreshing face wash. He dismissed when he heard a loud knock on his office door. As he exited his personal toilet, he had his head looking straight as he headed towards his black and white sleek office chair. 

His deep dark blue pupil dilated and he froze in position when he saw the familiar half up half down hairstyle girl, wearing a comfortable looking pastel-green hoodie with blue jeans standing in front of him.

He rubbed his eyes and looked at her again. 'Am I still dreaming?'
