Chapter 61: Imaginary friend

Aayiz did not want to divulge too much information of his race. Not unless she specifically ask such questions.

'One at a time.' That was what Aayiz intended to do. Through this conversation maybe he could see how her reaction would be and go with the flow.

"I visited someone's house within KHCI compound," he said with more confidence this time.

Sara's tilted head and narrowed eyebrows was more than enough to show how much she did not believe his words. Aayiz silently chuckled as her expressions reminded him how she was still the same since young.

The only difference is back then the word "eh?" would roll out her mouth so easily but the current her has developed experiences as she looked extremely natural and in control of her expressions. He smiled knowingly and his heart felt content of how she managed to grow up well despite being an orphan at such a young age.
