Chapter 31: Time after time

Back in the office, Jia Yu and Adam were pouting while looking at Sara.

"We could have eaten happily in the office but we couldn't. Now who do you think is at fault there?" Jia Yu whined as she tried to bore a hole in Sara's eyes.

"Yeaah and to make it up, that someone should probably share with us some juicy gossip. So, what happened there, someone?" Adam nudged Sara cheerily.

"There is no gossip, we just eat. That's all," Sara clarified.

"Yeah, we know. We saw. But what made him come here?" Jia Yu questioned inquisitively.

"I don't know. Why don't you ask him yourself? I'm not Lucas," Sara answered in an annoyed tone.

"Bah humbug!"

"Spoilsport!"

Sara ignored them and continued to engross herself with the financial audit work throughout the rest of her day peacefully.
