Chapter 31: Chapter Thirty-One

I stare at him and he stares at me.

My pulse is hammering against my neck, my breathing shallow and fast. He carried me to his king suite, there is a massive bed in the middle of the dimly lit room, I faintly note through my brain haze.

This is happening?

This could turn south if he starts asking me questions, the lust haze could clear and make way for doubt.

"Who made your dress?" his voice is husky and hot.

The dreaded questions.

But the dress is killer.

I can play hardball too, I am not going to let this go south. Smiling I tilt my head at him like he always does to me. I can be coy and tempting just as good as he can, seduction can go many ways. I can feel him putting up some walls which I will break down. Time to step out of my comfort zone.

"Do you like it?" I ask as innocently as possible, doing a slight spin for him. "I think red is a confident color."
