"I'm back my darlings" I heard that despicable man say

"What took you so long?" My mum asked

"I had an issue with the water today, but everything's fine now. Drink up and I will be back later in the afternoon to give you lunch"

"Won't you untie us as usual?" I asked

"I would but I'm not here to keep an eye on you, but I'm going to get some one real quick to come watch you, I have to go tell the neighbors you're safe" He smiled and turned off the switch, before walking out. He always does that so we don't try anything

I sighed as I stared at where my food was supposed to be in front of me, it looked delicious the last time I saw it but I couldn't eat it without help.

"Mum I'm so hungry" I whined

"He'll be back to feed us. Let's scream help before he comes back"

"Help!!" she started

"Help!!" I continued

and we kept on shouting until I finally gave up

"Mum it's no use. No one's going to come"
