" Will your mother accept our marriage," I asked Karthik as I could not hide any insecurity in my heart anymore.

His body stiffens listening to my words…

I moved a bit back and looked into his eyes. I saw the sadness and pain in his eyes on hearing his mother's name. I thought I hurt him with my words. I am such a spoilsport always spoil his mood.

" Please don't doubt my love for you because that is the only thing, I am sure of " he hugged me.

" Did I hurt you with my words?" I asked looking into his eyes.

" No. You don't hurt me. I am sorry for not giving you a complete family. But,  I am feeling happy that you are sharing your feelings with me without hiding anything." He kissed my forehead.
